...yup, it's in the bag. http://espn.go.com/blog/newyork/yan...o-promote-alan-cockrell-and-add-marcus-thames
The only way the Yankees finish reorganizing their system is when Cashman is gone! This guy is still trying to find capable people, but look who's doing the picking? lol
It's going to be real interesting to see how they handle Bird & if they give the 2B job to Refsnyder.
It's Refsnyder's job to lose, imo....and it certainly will be interesting to see how the Yanks use Bird. The obvious scenario would have him (1b,DH), Tex (1b,DH), and Arod (DH) in some kind of rotation....if Arod makes it out of ST this year. It should work itself out - and hopefully somehow Bird will get at least 400 or so AB. I don't see that happening unless Arod and/or Tex get injured or victimized by father time. Would be ideal if Bird can get his career rolling with "everyday" playing time and experience. Chances are he will get alot of ABs because of Arod's and Tex' situations.
I thought you told me you had gathered 40,000 demonstrators, to sit across the Washington Bridge, until Hank tenders Drew a 10 yr contract, eh....?
...yup, this new hitting coach will do well...he obviously has his finger firmly on the pulse of the game of Baseball; http://espn.go.com/blog/newyork/yan...tting-coach-says-a-rod-is-a-baseball-einstein http://espn.go.com/blog/newyork/yan...y-wrist-injury-in-2015-says-new-hitting-coach
