I've been married so long, I'm starting to think "asshole" is a term of endearment.

One possible solution; play him less.

Not that we have to do it immediately; but it might snap him back into a better rhythm and we could even try starting him later. He's second guessing himself on shots now; a terrible habit for a shooter. Maybe its his numb thumb; that's obviously on his mind since he's telling multiple media members about it.

If that's the case, he needs to go see a doctor, STAT. No one likes a numb thump.

I agree with some other posters; that Stotts' substitutions are rigid, and not flexible to game circumstances.

My main gripe though, is the offensive movement. We need to see more precise and decisive action on offense - designed to force the defense to try to compensate- make a mistake- and then Capatalize on that mistake.
Most great offenses will make you PAY for being out of position, over compensating or for making a mistake. Golden State are masters at this.

Our offense seems somewhat 'wishy-washy', in that the players will set weak screens and picks, and continue to go through their set progression, regardless of what the defense is giving them.

I want to see a merciless offense that punishes defensive mistakes!

I re-watched the minny game... Leonard learned from the LMA school of screens... he SUCKS at them. Every single one he left early.

And I know I've seen it in other games too.

Problem is Frazier can't hit the broad side of a barn with a basketball when he is trying to score. For some reason he can throw it pretty well when he is trying to get it to another player but the minute he throws it at a round hole he gets all goofy? This is a major problem. We all know what happens when your point guard can't score. It becomes 4 on 5 and nobody scores.

Davis into the starting rotation - move Leonard to backup.
We then have a passing big men at all times. Plus better defense and rebounding.

Henderson starting, absorbs Crabbes minutes - CJ comes off bench as PG. (No reduction in minutes though)
We then have an attacking guard in game at all times. And someone who can create. (Cj creating, and, Leonard for the kick-out three gives the second unit some potency)

Harkless gets Crabbes remaining minutes. (If Frazier or Crabbe are on the court - your chances of losing go up exponentially)

We should wait for Hendo to come back before making all these crazy posts boys. Now granted the fact Frazier hasn't seen minutes so far certainly does not bode well for him with a player who should be in the rotation returning. If anything it likely puts him further down the bench. However, if Henderson gets decent minutes when he returns then the lineup will change drastically, and we hopefully won't have as many scoring lulls.

Henderson will probably start when he returns. It's possible this could have been the plan all along. Now @ 2min 1st quarter you are subbing him in, not out.
