Hope Rangers play at the top of their game tonight.
It should be a combative affair.
    Go Rangers!

Hoping nash and kreider join the offense tonight and Big Mac gets some PK time out there. This should be a barnburner

Good start so far, both teams playing well. Hayes line is getting it done. Mcilrath looks alright, looks like a kid that hasn't played in 2weeks, given more time he should be able to get comfortable and progress further

The Rangers are just such smarter team than the Caps.

McIlrath provides zero when he's in the lineup. Just trade him for a 4th rounder already.

What were you expecting from a stay at home dman, he has never exactly lit it up in the ahl. And really 5 periods this season and you have an assessment already. I'd rather see him play another 4-5 games in a row before i make up my mind.

The whole team has been outplayed in the 2nd period,
yet score 2 goals on their only 2 shots..........they have
let Washington have their own way in the defensive
zone. Caps have outshot Rangers 22-11 so far.

If you're only concerned with the outcome, then you're
happy......so far. Watching them not able to stop
    Caps' crisp passing is troublesome.

Don't agree on your big mac assessment. Kid shook off the rust in first period after not playing for a while. 2nd period he was much better and made a couple of nice plays on one wiping out a defender on sideboards and then taking puck away and starting breakout and the other clearing laich's ass out of the crease for the first time in like forever for a ranger d man. I think AV is liking what he sees as mac has the 2nd most ice time after 2 periods behind McD who is having a big game. Hope he lets the kid go in third period also as the more this kid plays the better he'll get. Also leads the team in hits

We'll see Mel, and i probably am too critical of him but i just don't think he has what it takes to be more than a call up type.

Absolutely disgusting performance for the most part of the game.

Stepan has not been right since first game of season.
Something is wrong with him......seems to be playing
    through it.

While I agree they played an aweful defensive game, they were capable of finishing on holtby and they stand to get the win so it's just something to work on for the next game.

You guys are all crazy. Not sure what else to say. Team wins AGAIN and is in 1st place and STILL we complain. Business as usual for Step, but the rest of you I just don't get it. Crazy...

Did you watch this game? Plenty of room for improvement.

Chuck, are you a bottom line Ranger fan?

You have and always will be a moron on McIlrath 71. Gimme a break. Concentrate your hatred on Kreider who is a useless asswipe in 50% of the regular season games he plays. McIlrath was solid.

Of course there is room for improvement there always is, but for the love of god all you guys do is bi*ch in here no matter if we win, or lose, or lead the Met. If you can't see that than you are blind eyes.

It is way over the top, but again is what it is. I just wish you guys would see that and actually enjoy watching the team and enjoy all the winning we have done the past 4 years instead of complaining non-stop in every thread.
