Didn't want to start a new thread... so I'll post it here. They have some photos of practice today in Utah. Some of what Alexander is showing is making me excited to see him in a live game. http://www.nba.com/blazers/gallery/photos-practice-utah-0
I agree about Cliff Alexander. He's even exciting in pictures. He just seems like that junkyard dog we need.
Great to see him out there doing that. Chris Kaman is a character but I don't think he's blowing smoke when he says that the guy should have been a first round pick. I've been watching a lot of footage on Cliff and I'm surprised he went undrafted. I bet a lot of people might not know that Cliff played highschool ball vs Jahlil Okafor in Chicago. A place where a lot of big names seem to come out of. Cliff wasn't just some dude balling for some HS though, he was a big name athelete. The chicago tribune voted him player of the month his senior year in December. However he did not win the Mr. Basketball award mentioned in the article - That award went to Okafor. Alexander did however win the Sun Times player of the year award for 2014. Interesting quote from Sun Times writer Michael O'Brien on Alexander, I definitely recommend you read the entire article. If Cliff is cleared to play and 100% he might find himself climbing the depth chart. It could be really fun watching Alexander become a national "Who dat" story.
I like in the last picture it looks like Stotts is saying "Oooh, how I wish this was an outside shot."
