Zero chance any other team gets Beal; they'll have until July 13th to decide on Beal if he agreed with another team Jul 1st. Durant won't take that long.

Plus Beal will want to sign with Was instead of another team since he can get more money and a 5th year only from Was.

Sounds like something that was told would happen for us.

Now he's playing in San Antonio.

Agreed. Although I think there is no chance we get Paul George either. All the players are as likely to come here as Steph Curry, LeBron, Anthony Davis and Andrew Wiggins.

We need to try to sign the next Aminu, or Wes Matthews, or Paul Millsap when Atlanta first got him. The A list stars aren't realistic. But theres other great longshot allstars out there; we get a couple of them, make a good draft pick, have some young guys continue to improve and could be a legit up and coming playoff team.

Yes exactly; Kawhi Leonard was in the same situation last summer and had zero chance of ever leaving that Spurs team. Same as Jimmy Butler.

Beal will be a restricted free agent so he has no choice in being able to leave.

We need the Lakers to start winning some games. We don't want them in the bottom 3 (they keep their pick then right?) but if they get the 4th pick they lose it in a trade.

Yep. I am listening to the Laker station right now. And I am concerned they will go into tank mode if they go 0-5 on their upcoming road trip. The good thing is the teams they will be playing are not very good. (Nets/Knicks) The bad thing is the 4 teams they have already lost to are not very good either.

I am torn because I am thoroughly enjoying their melt down, but I want them to end up with the 4th worst record.

It worked with Detroit. The Jazz had some great teams. So did Phoenix.

Even if they have the worst NBA record the statistically most likely pick they'll have is #4.

Top 3 picks are based off lottery and the worst record only has a 25% chance of getting it.

Good point. But just to be safe I still am rooting for them to finish 4th. I like the sound of "zero % chance of a first round pick"

Seeing that this team isn't a doormat like many thought....

Ellenson will be out of reach, as will Skal.

Sabonis is a prospect that could rise but I hope he's within reach.

His length is going to be a huge hurdle but he's an elite rebounder and this skill usually transfers to the next level. He has that knack.

Looking at numbers again - Sabonis had a TS% of 74% for most of the season before it dipped a tad.

That's insane. To put that in perspective, and Im not comparing the two, prime Shaq's best was 61%.

With his severe lack of length this shows you that he's all about IQ and feel/timing.

I'd be happy with Sabonis as a pick, as long as he wanted to play here.

Neither one of our guys is Joe Dumars. Neither one of them is John Stockton. It's more like having two Isiah Thomas players.

I was curious who Jackson scored most of his points on.

    First shot - Crabbe
Second shot - Dame (screened) shot was on meyers on the switch
    Third shot - Dame
    Fourth shot - Dame
    Fifth shot - CJ
    Sixth shot - CJ
    Seventh shot - CJ
    Eightth shot - CJ
    Ninth shot - CJ
Tenth shot - CJ - blows past him on a fast break
    Eleventh shot - CJ

Most of the damage was done on CJ.
