    Lindberg 6 G, 3 A, + 8 in 12 games

    Hagelin 1 G , 1 A , -4 in 12 games

    Maloney and Brooks made him out to be Drury in his prime

    They may miss his speed slightly, and Etem hasn't provided much but irreplaceable?

    Watch the Ducks try to deal him and his moronic 4 million salary at the deadline.

    Lindberg's physical play is what makes him so much better, might not even be fair to compare him to Hags. They couldn't match $4 mil anyway (which I still can't believe Hags got but good for him, better for the Rangers) so getting Etem was basically a freebie.

    Gropp will be the win from that trade imo, he has a nice blend of grit and skill. Reminds me a little of Laughton in Philly. Who knows where it goes with Etem, but he dosen't appear to do any specific thing all that well.

    Lindberg is the kind of rookie this team needs to take the next step. Just like Pearson & Tiffoli for the Kings and Terravienen for the Hawks

    It's hilarious morons at OTG picked Fogarty as our 7th best prospect. He's not even an above average college player. Gropp is a guy Clarke loved. I trust Clarke. That's why I believe in McIlrath.

    The difference between Etem and Lindberg is simple. Etem is dumb as a post. Lindberg is smart. Kreider isn't much smarter than Etem.

    Lindberg plays hockey the way it's supposed to be
    played. He's a two way player with 'great' ice vision;
    can't say that about Kreider or Etem. And I like
    Kreider, but his on ice action so far leaves a lot to
    be desired. I have more confidence that Lindberg
    will take the next step.

    I like Lindberg as much as the next guy, but his #s are skewed but that unconscious start that he is likely to never repeat again in his lifetime. 4gls in 3gms is something that he pulled out of his rear end.

    No, he didn't pull that out of his ass. He scored 28 goals in the AHL last year on a complete, crap team. He's in the right place a lot. It's not luck. It's called hockey sense.

    Lindberg always seems to be in the right place at the right time and I like that he plays with a chip on his shoulder. I think the kid is just a good player and will only get better
