It's not just the improvement of Mason Plumlee, which is awesome to see, also look at Aminu, Harkless and Allen Crabbe. We can actually rely on Aminu with his three point shooting, in his career, wasn't a three point shooter and doesn't like to take them. Harkless finally got his chance with a new team and its working. Allen Crabbe with a couple years of hard work, getting mentored, and learning, and with the time to shine, he's doing really well so far. The way these players have improved in time for a rebuild Portland season, it's looking really good. And at the moment we are not a lottery team at all. I'm ready to surprise everyone with this team.

OMG this! The transformation in Przy's FT was ridiculous. If Mase can shoot 70% from the line, he'd be a near max player

Emphasis on the nose job, cause you know, it's important to look pretty when you're making pretty passes.

He is an absolute steal. What's more important is how well he compliments the other players. He's a perfect cog

He is really overthinking and overstressing on his free throws. You can see it. It's hard to shoot well when you don't have confidence in your shot. Just relaxing would help (maybe try hypnosis), but his form is as ridiculous as I've ever seen. He just needs to fundamentally change his approach. I wasn't kidding when I advocated he shoot them Rick Barry/Granny style. Honestly in 15 minutes of practice he'd be shooting them at a higher percentage. If he doesn't want to deal with the cultural/social suicide of shooting them underhanded, I'd advocate extending his arms way up above his head on the release, and put a very extreme arc on the shot. That should take care of that stupid hitch he's got. Maybe put a baseball cap on his head and make him hit the bill of the cap with the back of his hand on every shot. IDK. He gets paid a lot of money to put the ball in the basket, someone should be able to teach him how.

Agreed, and I see some natural athlete gifts that RoLo couldn't even get within sniffing distance of.

    On the acquisition of Plumlee--

If, in the past, we used to call this kind of highway robbery a "Pritch Slap," what, pray tell then to christen this new buggery with?

How about a "Neil 'n Bob"?

Until he re-works his FT stroke.....maybe he should take one small step to the right. He seems to clank it off the left side of the rim. Hell I don't know, it is ugly for sure. I expect the opportunity for a few "and 1's" from him so he needs to figure it out.
But I love the rest of his game.

I remember when Wilt Chamberlain tried shooting them from the top of the key.

No, wait, no I don't. I'm not that old. But I heard about it.

Right, much better to err on the side of violence.
