One thing I have to admit has changed about the Blazers is that so many players don't maintain residences in Portland. When I was a kid this wasn't so much the case. I get up in West Linn and could see Clyde Drexler or Jerome Kersey at the local super market. The amount of roster turnover and travel, many players just don't settle here. The Timbers are winning the battle over the Blazers in this department BIG TIME. Timbers like Darlington Nagbe, Nat Borchers and Jack Jewsbury all live here year round. It what helps make the Timbers Army so strong. Hopefully, with Dame signing a long contract and Beibs settling down this changes.
