Why not? Might as well go with the flow.
The U.S. is seriously considering employing females into combat units despite the results of test and evaluations by the Marine Corp:

A yearlong Marine Corps study trying to understand how gender integration would affect combat readiness has found that all-male units were faster, more lethal and able to evacuate casualties in less time.

Overall, according to a summary of the study, all-male squads performed better than mixed groups in 69 percent of the tasks evaluated.

NPR's Tom Bowman filed this report for our Newscast unit:

"The Marines created a battalion of 100 female and 300 male volunteers. During the past year, they trained in North Carolina and California, taking part in realistic combat exercises.

"All-male squads, the study found, performed better than mixed gender units across the board. The males were more accurate hitting targets, faster at climbing over obstacles, better at avoiding injuries.

"The Marine study says its main focus is maximum combat effectiveness, because it means fewer casualties.
The Marines have not said whether the study's results will lead them to ask for a waiver that bars women from ground combat jobs.

"Defense Secretary Ash Carter said he hopes to open all combat jobs to women."

WTF exactly IS THIS WORLD coming to?
Isn't "winning" and safety numero uno....IN COMBAT?

This country is going to ruin itself in the name of "diversity" and for the sake of the unqualified and mediocre in order to make everyone feel "equal" IN ALL ENDEAVORS and in the face of cold hard results.

Maybe there IS a legitimate reason why we don't see women on NFL teams or winning The Heavyweight Championship of the World?....ect

Rick, just taking things a step further and giving another example of "things" which causes some of us from certain generations to scratch our heads concerning the changing atmosphere, pop culture and what is becoming "mainstream".......
Nothing against any particular gender.....and who knows, maybe I'll one day be temporarily fooled by a "Caitlin Jenner".
