    Speaking of Gardner & the Mariners would you do this,

    Gardner & Refsnyder to the Mariners in exchange for Cano & to match up salaries the Mariners would also agree to pay on average 4-6M a year against his salary?

    ...no way I'd do that...the last 3-4 years of Cano's contract will still be brutal...unless they paid at least 1/2 of it and I seriously doubt they would...plus, the Mariners need Cano if they wanna be serious contenders in the next 5 years.

    ...as far as Gardner, trade him and Beltran too...and replace them with Heyward or Upton and maybe also add Judge.

    I agree on Cano in leaving his lame ass where it is, I was just curious. And Heyward & Upton HELL! in a heartbeat. But we'll never see it.

    for damaged goods? How much of a favorite is Gardner?.......

    I know- Heyward is younger, faster, better defensively and YS is a better HR park.
