    He's a Mo williams/Jamal Crawford guy.

If he can be a 6th man, I'd keep him. Starting SG? No.

Trade Meyers so sick of watching him be just awful. The dude doesn't have "it". He's trash.

The thing that annoys me about Leonard is his soft defense.

He's one of the softest bigs that I've ever seen.

I don't think he is soft, I just don't think he is a power forward. He spaces the floor well and when he went down his absence was felt on the floor. However he is a center, he needs to be guarding centers. We can't play Davis and Plumlee together though as our floor spacing would be atrocious.

Maybe Noah needs a shot if Meyers injury sidelines him for a few days.

Like I been saying with Cj. He's a great player but he's no different than the Lou Williams, Jamal Crawford, and of course Mo Williams, who I compare him too type of player. I personally loved Mo he can be a tremendous help on a team that needs some bench firepower and that's what Cj is to me.

He's not good at guarding centers either though. I think he's soft too.. He gets pushed around on defense and rebounding pretty easily by guys smaller than him.

6th man would be a great role for CJ McCollum for this team.

CJ is playing like a borderline all star, not a 6th man...

He's wayyyyyyyyy more skilled than Mo Williams and Jamal Crawford. Those guys just chuck long range shots. CJ can get to the rim and score in many different ways. CJ is closer to Roy than Mo/Jamal.

Not necessarily in what they shoot, but how they play in terms of volume shooting.

That is ludicrous. He's wayyyyy different than those guys. He can get to anywhere on the floor and he can score in just about any way possible. He's one of the top SGs in the league.

CJ shoots a lot because that is his job. He's our 2nd star. We need him to score 20 a game and he does it a LOT more efficiently than Aldridge did.

He's better at the pick and pop than Aldridge was and his defense and rebounding is getting better. He was playing well last night before he went down.

So, what you're saying is Mo and Jamal did it -out- of the system and shot outside of what the team needed?

I mean, I can see that. It's just weird to see him go 1/8 4/12 and then all of a sudden he gets like 8 pts. That's the frustration/elation I suppose we're going to have to get use to.

I dunno, I'd try Hendo out at starting SG and see how McCollum does as our 6th man. At least he is versitale that way.

Just thinking about options... this is a tinker season, after all.

Did you see the atrocious picks he set tonight? Oh god. LOL. (I'm talking about Aldridge, not Meyers.)

That's the point though, CJ needs to be ON THE COURT to get comfortable and play at his best. You can't take him in and out. We did that last year and got almost nothing out of him. He needs to get in a groove. All the greats are like this. You think Jordan made 1 shot then missed 1 shot then made 1 shot etc etc? No, you go on a little runs. I think CJ could average 30 if he was asked to. That is why you see him score 8 quickly. It's because things have broken down and coach has asked him to score. You're the #1 option, go. He's pretty much just as good as Lillard. He actually has a few more skills than Lillard when it comes to getting anywhere on the floor he wants to get to.

I wouldn't say he's up there with the greats (nor do I think that's what you were implying... I just needed to say it)...

I mean, I hear what you're saying. I guess we take the good CJ with the bad.

And both Lillard and CJ can do anything with the ball... although Lillard can take some really dumb shots... though he is going for the contact and foul... maybe someday he'll get them?

It's laughable to me that you think you can match basketball wits with Eric. He knows all, and thinking you know anything compared to him only makes you look foolish.

Just sit back and enjoy it while he is gracious enough to share his knowledge with us
