That's all I was trying to say. Christ enjoy what's going on. I don't want to hear about McIlrath or how bad so and so is in every game thread when the team has 26 out of 32 possible points to start the year.

Zucc has raised his game to another level. Kreider actually was skating last night. That being said, if Staal and Yandle turned the puck over any more I think they might have set an NHL record for turnovers by a pair of defenseman. Geez.

All these early wins is huge. It means the team can use McIlrath to rest Girardi, McDonagh, Boyle and Staal later on in the year without worrying about missing the playoffs. Personally, if at the 50 game mark the team had a huge record, I'd call up Skjei and probably would give McDonagh, Staal, Girardi and Boyle all 8 to 15 games off. Have them fresh for the playoffs.

Has nothing to do with big brother, you guys want to b*tch while the team wins every game go for it, the point is how about you guys enjoy the team winning instead of in every single thread and in 1/2 the posts complaining about something and whining over and over again about Boyle and McIlrath.

It makes it a difficult read when the team wins every game and you see Boyle sucks, Staal sucks, G sucks (71 has been saying those two suck for 5 straight years now so I ask him to keep that up as a good luck charm), where is McIlrath. Athletes are not robots despite what some of you think...they will make mistakes.

Of course the team can improve and has some areas to focus on, but for the love of god all the team has done is win...enjoy it. Step did it in this game, and I bet he enjoyed it a lot more than normal.

^^^^^^^Stop taking yourself so seriously. Your reprimands
on this board are funny. Thank you for letting us know that
hockey players are human beings. I just think that you must
preface before all your comments that this board bitches
    too much. That's all.

The focus is the game..............not the bitching. Ignore it.....
    because the bitching won't stop......

Well, one of Staal or Yandle will not be here next year I think that is a lock. If given the choice I would rather have Yandle here, but I'm not sure it will play out that way with Staal already signed long term. So I agree Al.

I think they finally will try to move Staal to Carolina. I think the way they look at it is Skjei is a lot more like Staal with his game where Yandle brings something none of our current defenseman do. I don't think they will want anything back from the Canes other than multiple picks and long term prospects. There is little room on the roster for any prospects as it is.

Ultimately, I think the best trade partner is Dallas. I don't buy their defense. I think they will win enough this season that they will trade their first rounder next year which could be low. This all depends on Staal waiving the idiotic NTC they gave him. The year after he has a limited NTC.

Colorado may be a good place for Staal as well. The left side of their defense has been questionable for a few seasons now. They have Johnson and Barrie on the right. If they move Duchene (it wouldn't be to us for Staal so let's not even go there), they might have the room to reunite all the Staals there. Along with MacKinnon, Landeskog and Iginla that would be a solid squad. As dump said, picks and prospect for Staal and get Yandle under contract.
