Yeah when Crabbe walked away from the play in progress I was mad as hell.

    There's no decision. It's CJ.

I've accepted McCollum can't play D worth a camels spit, but damn if he could at least pass the ball instead of just throwing the ball up in a strange spasm like state and hoping against all odds it will go in....if he's open take it, if he can get to the basket without three or four guys on him chance it, otherwise pass it out to open man for a 3 CJ

CJ played a bad game defensively and offensively last night. I hope he's reading this..his drives into heavy traffic and turnovers killed us. He didn't finish at the rim well at all and forced bad passes...We had some horrible defense from Plumlee and Leonard that allowed Duncan to skip to the rim a few times without any resistance...I saw Meyers watch him make a layup from 2 ft away and not move. Gerald Henderson should play big minutes..he knows how to keep an opponent on his hip and stick with him

His problem isn't with bigger SG's - it's quick PG's. Diaw is a PF with Center girth. Not really fair.

Still plays tougher D than Leonar_.

Kind of, but with a less selfish and more intelligent Ellis. I have no idea if it will work long term, but I believe that it has the possibility of working. Cj is still getting used to playing big minutes in the NBA. He is intelligent and I know he is going to work on his shortcomings. Just a thought.

I really like CJ and he hustles even though he doesn't have lateral quickness on defense..but in fairness, he studied with Steve Nash this summer and if you've ever seen Nash defend....

His best defense was holding down that court for 45 minutes last week.

Yeah that was a lockdown performance. No points made while he was out there.

Let not single out just CJ on defense we got a whole team struggling on team defense concept and it on the shoulders of the coach.

Um... No... When you're as small as CJ, you're used to everyone posting you up. He could've at least put a body on him. Stop giving him a pass...

So you admit that even you would put a body on one of the best post players ever?

I was also wondering if he could have just set his feet and taken the charge. Maybe Dvvis can shed some light on this for us. Are you allowed to run someone over with your butt in basketball?

Plus, what the fuck was the rest of the defense doing? They just stood around and watched it happen like a bunch of retards. Why not help the guy out? Trap Diaw, go in for a steal or something.....

I like Plumlee's scrap and ability to finish around the rim etc....but I don't think he's a very natural rim protector. Look at him just stand there and watch.

I think this can be our new mantra for the defense this year. They scored withOUT. any. effort.
