So there are no normal families in Syria? No one trying to get their family out of a war zone?

Oh sorry was I supposed to do the standard "thoughts and prayers" while obviously adding nothing real or tangible to the tragedy? The victims dont care about your thoughts or prayers, they're dead. Which means when someone posts that all over their social media site it's not to the benefit of the victims but actually a selfish "look at me everyone" it actually makes me sick.

Bro, Anthony Jeselnek is a douche bag. Don't base your philosophies off of his stand up routine, you are doing yourself a disservice.

Get real guys. You all know damn well that if you let a tens of thousands of people in from a brutal civil war torn country, a good number of them are going to be terrorists. The rebels were terrorists, and were equally as brutal in their fighting as the Assad regime. They weren't fighting for "freedom" but for a hateful religion, and the country would have been no better off with them.

These guys brutally killed women and children in cold blood. And polls have shown that large percentages of Muslims in both the middle east, and those living in western countries support or sympathize with terrorists, and want shariah law.

Accepting them into the country is like swallowing sewage water, arguing that you shouldn't let the turds in there stop you from taking in the h20. If you take them in, you're going to get the shit.

And if you think this was an isolated incident, you need to pull your head out of your ass and pay more attention. Muslims have brought epidiemics of rape, theft and all sorts of anti-social behavior to the countries they infest. They have little respect for the local culture.

Why do you think Saudi Arabia refused to take in any refugees? They even had facilities in place to handle them.

He's also not funny. I watched that whole stand up special, not knowing who he was at all, and laughed once.

Ive thought this way for a long time. It's part of being a jaded cynical ass hole. he's just the first comedian I've heard with the balls to say it.

My ex was "praying" for my soul when she aborted my child. I guess it's more important to look the part than actually give a shit.

Do I feel bad for the victims? Of course. Do I hope nothing like this happens on US soil? Of course. But changing your facebook picture to the Eiffel tower offers absolutely nothing. It's slacktivism at its finest.

The bible told us shit will get real. I believe it.

I'm sure no expert on French border control or Muslim unrest but Muslim unrest and tensions are not a new thing in France and they're not Syrians for the most part...more Morrocan and Algerian or at least used to be...but whatever..you don't penalize refugee's because of ethnic paranoia in a free world. It just sucks and nothing we say about it will change it

Yes, Saudi Arabia is such the great example.

What about Jordan and Lebanon? They've taken in over 2 million refugees.

Instead of giving Saudi Arabia a pass why not put real pressure on them and the 6 other richest Arab nations that are doing nothing?

I'm not saying that these particular attacks were launched by Syrian refugees. But this issue is tied in with the whole policy of taking in Muslim immigrants.

I just know that if I were to say my thoughts and prayers are with the victims that I would be doing so because I hurt for them and want them to know that even though they have not, and likely will not ever meet me, I still hope that they can be okay and recover. I would gladly post those sentiments anonymously as I don't care if they know who it came from, the important part is that they know there is a whole world of people who care.

This isn't to say people don't try to attention whore the situation, but I believe the majority say things like "thoughts and prayers" because they are genuine, good people who just want to see the world become a better place.

Then donate time or money to the clean up or educate young people about the dangers of cults. Actually do something if you care.

See, I view it as actually doing something. Sure you could do more, but you could also do less. And at the end of the day there's nothing wrong with somebody saying something nice. If they have their own selfish desires motivating them then let it be on their soul.

Go read some Twitter comments about this and tell me if "Thoughts and prayers" is still at the top of your list for things you wish humanity would stop saying. As the world slowly seems to turn to shit I implore people to continue to say something nice, even if you are being a selfish asshole. Because at the end of the day that is about 1,000,000,000,000x better and more productive than saying some shit like "All Muslims need to die."

Do you really think ISIS will leave us alone if we get out of the Middle East?
