Let's get real, NO buildings had to come down to start a war in Afghanistan. The image of hijacked planes plowing into skyscrapers and prominent federal buildings was more than enough.

 

There's the real conspiracy in this situation.

The truth, which we haven't gotten, is always a lot stranger than fiction. I just think its funny how people don't trust the government at all can suddenly trust them in this instance.

 

There are FAR too many coincidences and inconsistencies for the official report to be taken seriously. Even if you believe that there's nothing abnormal with ANY of the WTC shit (which is crazy), we were clearly lied to about the crash in Pennsylvania and at the Pentagon.

I don't think many people who believe there was a conspiracy think that the Bush Administration was involved (except for maybe turning a blind eye). It's far more likely that it was perpetrated by private sector actors with the help of people planted in the military/intelligence agencies, than by elected officials.

NO! WE DON'T! That's a Mags-level straw man! Nobody thinks Bush had anything to do - let alone orchestrated - 9/11.

 

Since we're sharing conspiracy theories: I had to wonder if the Bush administration knew something was going to happen that might enable them to "justify" invading Iraq, but they were caught completely off-guard with the severity and scope of it. The only thing I know for sure is that instead of taking care of business in Afghanistan, they trumped up bullshit reasons to invade Iraq, which I believe was for the sole benefit and enrichment of certain corporate allies, costing you and me hundreds of billions of dollars in economic damages.

And that's the last I'm going to say about it.
