4 triple doubles in last 6 games. So don't tell me he only plays well with Pierce/KG/Allen. I'm sick of that false narrative.
I'm not one who ever bought into that. It's not like Rondo is all by himself talent wise in SAC though.
Right but if you aren't good because you only were with good teammates then Magic Johnson was only good because he played with Worthy and Kareem.
I think Rondo is really impressive. To go from getting her ass kicked in Australia to being the PG for the Kings is truly amazing.
It was a joke but i'll spell it out for you.... http://www.nba.com/finals2008/ Kind of a twist on the whole "False Narrative" thing. To kind of loosen things up around here.
Great player but disruptive to the team chemistry. I too was a Rondo fan but got sick of his antics. Building the team right doesn't mean Boy Scouts and a winning formula can be had with Unselfish play and hustle without the drama or insubordination.
Meh, okay point. Contract year is overrated for most players I think. I mean, it would imply that most players actively play with less effort except for their final contract year and I just find that too hard to believe. I think If I ever truly believed that, I would never pay another red cent to the NBA. That would be hard. I think its more like 1%-2% of the players in the NBA this would actually be significant. Please don't let me be wrong on something like this. I mean if that's the case then the best team to assemble would be a bunch of average to above average players (kinda what we have now) all with contracts ending the same year. contract year is overated 99% of the time.
12 points 18 assists 5 rebounds 4 steals Rondo F'd the Mavs so hard. I'd love to have an honest conversation with Cuban to hear his real thoughts on Rajon Rondo.
He didn't fit their offense at all. Playing with Boogie and Gay makes a lot more sense. Boogie and Gay are a lot closer to Garnett/Pierce than Dirk/Parsons.
Goerge Carls system has always made PGs with two brain cells look amazing. To bad those stats dont lead to wins.
