There's like a billion middle of the road teams this year. East has 5 decent teams that aren't even in the top 8. In the West, it's SA/GS/Dallas and then everyone is mediocre. I think every team but Lakers and Pelicans have a chance of making playoffs in West because 4th thru 8th aren't as strong as they were in past years. So who's good and who isn't? What are your top 8 in each conference?

I don't think Portland, New Orleans, Memphis, Dallas or Houston are as good as they've been in the past. The teams in the west t getting better are the Jazz, Spurs, Suns, Wolves and mariginally Denver. Detroit, Knicks, Celtics, Bucks and Magic are improved in the east.

Mavericks are on 6 game win streak. The Bucks have a better record than us and they are 13th in the East.
