FYI, Dame shot better than Kobe tonight.

    Kobe shot 7%.

    Seriously.

Dame was ballin even though his shots weren't fallin.

Credit the Bulls defense for some of that. Having to carry the team and do it all for the rest.

I've said this before but one thing I really love about Dame is that when you are thinking to yourself that he is having on off or bad night you will often look up and notice that he has a double double of some sort or even a near triple double like tonight. So if that's a bad or horrible game then I will take that 100% of the time for his bad nights. He finds a way. You can't expect his shooting to be on every night but can expect him to still find a way to help the team to be competitive. Leaders lead even in losses

I don't agree. I think inefficiently he killed the team and his shot is way too streaky for a team to really rely on as a first option

Our new team so far compared to the old team:

Center - Plums and Davis are an improvement over heavy Lopez and softy Kaman.
PF - LMA was way better than Von,Biebs,Alexander.
SF - Aminu is a slight improvement over Batum and Harkless is a slight improvement over...well,nothing.
SG - CJ & Crabbe from the bench are an improvement over Matthews and nothing from the bench.
PG - I see a slight improvement in Lillard's game.

Maybe i'm crazy, but i think we might be 1 good power forward away from competing at the same level as the old team did.

Bro did you just post that Aminu is an improvement over Nic? Don't know ya, don't think I've ever read any of your post, but this might lead to you being the first person I've ever blocked on here. If this is the sign of your opinion of anything basketball related, I don't want to read it. Amazing you can watch him stumble around out there and dare say he's better than Batum. In fact, where are all the people after 5 games that were tossing props to Aminu for being such a great addition?

I love it when posters use the "streaky" or "inconsistent" argument with no supporting data.

Prove that he's actually more "streaky" than other players that you'd like to have instead.

Why don't you back up your claim that Batum is so much better than Aminu? Show us your amazing hoops knowledge and analysis!

I don't know who you are too.
I watched every game last season and Batum is better as a decision maker\passer yet his defense, shooting, rebounding and aggressiveness were inferior to Aminu's.
Batum is also more expansive and can't play PF.

Both of them are not legit starters for a serious team tho.

Why would you compare Aminu's stats on a talentless roster compared to Nic's on a STACKED roster? You realize this is NO way to judge or compare two players right? Just like comparing Kevin Love's numbers on his current Cavs team and his horrible Wolves one. You're better than this FAMS!

Nic's stats took a dive from the previous season when the roster was just as stacked. I think people are comparing what he was prior, what he was last season, etc.

Being on a stacked team, his 3pt shooting should have been good, no?

Love's role was certainly reduced and in a different system and he suffered injuries last season. His numbers this season are outstanding. Nic doesn't have that excuse.

Nic Batum is a perfect 4th option on a 54 win playoff team. People always wanted him to be more aggressive here. People forget about the pecking order sometimes on a team. He was a perfect fit here. As far as defender, and rebounder, they are probably identical. But I can tell you if Nic has the ball on his hands at ANYTIME, I feel more comfortable than when Aminu does. That dude is a TO waiting to happen. People on here were talking this dude up, like he was going to be such a huge upgrade over Nic........ the hell he is.

Last season, what did you realistically expect him to do? Between LA/Dame/Wes they were launching 50+ shots a game I'm guessing. I think with Nic taking what, 10 shots a game and being the 4th option AND being injured...... I wasn't complaining. Probably the best 4th option on an NBA roster last season.

Jesus, your going to block someone because he think a player is better than another? I mean , its not like he is arguing with you and going on and on. Your pompousness has no bounds it seems. Might as well block me too because Ive already made my mind up about you too...

Lighten up Francis. I don't block people on here, that's the joke. I have had posters come swinging on me left and right over the years and had mods contact me asking if I wanted to block them, never will.
Step back and take a deep breath. You have to learn how we roll around here. You gotta a thing for The HCP?

I'd expect him to make 46% of his shots and 36% of his 3pt shots and grab 7.5 rebounds a game and generate even more assists to those other players that stacked the team. Certainly not have a dramatic drop off nearly across the board. Those kinds of things are an indication he was maybe mailing it in or had basically checked out.

    -I said "slight improvement".
-Not every SF has to be a PG as well and make extra decisions, it's up to the coach.
-Did you feel comfortable with all of Batum's missed shots as well?? i know i cringed everytime he got an open shot because i knew he will screw it up.
-You have to factor in money as well, Batum is making almost 50% more money than Aminu!
-Rebounding and defense are identical?? are you serious mang?
