Comparing Nic to Aminu is really not a fair thing to do considering Nico was here for 7 years and knew the system better. Aminu is adjusting to a new system. I don't remember people thinking Aminu was a huge upgrade but Nico wasn't really the flavor of the month around here after last season. I think it's too early to compare the new guys with the old core that had played together so much it was second nature. Nic is in a contract year and playing well. I've always been a fan of his but he needed a change and so did the Blazers. HCP you need to give Aminu a bit of rope here early in the season. He's a defender first and a darned good 3 and D guy. He'll never get assist numbers like Nico did. Nico won't block shots like he does.

Go look up his FG percentages and especially his 3point percentages this year, its not good. Hes a high volume scorer with sub par defense.. GREAT leader and personality for a team but a little overrated on his bball game and is still propped up from his great first 2 seasons.

Tunchi doesn't like Lillard and will always find a flaw in his game.

Will you guys knock it off? Not in the mood to deal with drama. It's been quiet around here.

Its not that I dont like him, hes a great leader, personality and great dude all around. But his game is not that tight. Go look at his numbers and tell me how I'm wrong? I hope he gets better but I just think hes overrated

I actually don't use how much money a player makes as a way to judge them, I use where they were drafted.

The thing that's wrong is that you only show up saying this crap when he has an off night. He has 2 assists one game and you show up and bitch about that despite the fact that he's currently 7th in the league in assists. He has a poor shooting night like last night and you show up complaining about that despite the fact that 6th in the league in scoring. In short, you aren't to be taken as someone who is serious about Lillard's accomplishments. You're just looking to bait people into getting pissed at you. I think there's a word describing posters that do that...

    ............ what?

That's fine if they're a rookie, but after 4 years why does it matter where they were drafted? The Hornets should judge Batum on what they gave up to get him, and what it's going to cost to keep him. The Blazers originally signed Wes to a pretty decent contract for a second year guy. You're saying he should have still been judged on the fact that he wasn't drafted and not on his contract?

Good point. Only can judge that way thru their rookie contract!

And your biggest and most obvious downfall. Your like a jaded referee. Or like a senior with senioritis.
Maybe if you treated all fairly and with the same respect.... ahhh nevermind. I already know your incapable of turning the lightbulb on on this topic. Carry on.

Nice to see you admit that you shouldnt judge a player by the draft position though. It made no sense and you acknowledged it. Kudops to you for manning up.
Now if you would just acknowledge some other of your downfalls. ;)... nah....francine will always be francine...;)

It wouldn't be that hard to have a standard deviation like statistic for each player.

How do I use games when its an off night? Go look at his OVERALL NUMBERS.. Thats what I'm using. To me 25ppg on 41% shooting and 34% from 3s is not impressive

Well, I guess you should be thankful you're not a Rockets fan and have to put up with James Harden getting 27.9 ppg on 38% shooting and 27% from 3s. Absolutely nobody is impressed with that guy.

Thats terrible too. Thats about a tier lower than how Dame's playing this season. I just hope Dame shakes this damn shooting funk hes in, hes too much a great leader to deserve that. Harden is a prick

Oh, well I guess I could point out that Dame is getting much greater attention from defenses now that he doesn't have another All-Star on the team. And then there's that ripped off thumbnail. But those are just excuses, I suppose. Still, I guess you wouldn't be impressed by Russell Westbrook, then, either. I mean, last year when he didn't have Durant to draw some of the attention from the defense he put up 28 ppg on .426 shooting and just under 30% from three. Man, it must be tough for you as a fan.

Percentages, low or high, give no indication to "streaky" or "inconsistent". Using that as your argument just shows you don't know what you're talking about.
