However, he only played 3 minutes (I have no idea why). If he gets more playing time off the bench at Washington, he needs to become a factor because he is their leading scorer off the bench. InjuriesBrendan Haywood, WAS QuestionableMichael Ruffin, WAS OutDarius Songaila, WAS OutEtan Thomas, WAS OutBobby Simmons, MIL OutPredictionsWashington will take this game, kicking off 2007 with a win, 110-101. Gil will finish with 38.
We may be short handed but Gil only had 19 on saturday and I'm sure he doesn't want to let that happen again! Wizards want to win the season series 2-1 and I think we will, we need to get this win to have our mind set for the hard month ahead with our short handed roster.

This sure has been a very sloppy game.. it's halftime 56-59. Milwaukee's in the paint points are killing us once again.. Gadzuric has had 3 dunks already, what the hell. Jamison has Brendan Haywood hands tonight. He's lost the ball off of rebounds on many occasions, and has caused Milwaukee to get the ball many times. He's got to turn it around in the 2nd half. MY MAN CARON BUTLER IS ON FIYAHHHH!!Gil has been up and down so far. He's just getting the feel of the old ball right now.Hope we take revenge on this team! Go Wiz!
Were out hustling you guys for offensive rebounds, Mo Williams has been on fire in the second half...and Andray Blatche just had a couple sick blocks, what an athlete.Villanueva's been getting no minutes off the bench because he's been playing soft defense. It's been really frustrating.
DAGERRRRRRRRRRRR BY AGENT 60!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!35 FT JUMPER FOR THE WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WOOT WOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I <3 GIL!!!!!!!What a way to kick of 2007 with a win like that! :yahoo:
How do you like that BCB. Near the half court GILBERT ARENAS KNOCKS IT DOWN AND THE WIZARDS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Big three combined for 83 points. Caron's an all-star you heard it from me first.
Check out these amazing statlines from Gil and Caron:Arenas: 32 pts, 11 rebs, 8 asts, and 4 stlsButler: 29 pts, 9 asts, 7 rebs:worthy:
My dad and I were screaming when he hit that shot, we were so f*cking pissed. My dad's like, 'he did it again, that guy is nuts!' But yeah, what a shot. Everyone knew he was shooting the ball but we couldn't risk a foul and we had to take the risk and it bit us in the ass. On TV Caron said that in the huddle Arenas said this..."If they miss this shot, it's over" meaning he was going to hit the game winning shot. Unbelieveable confidence....after he shot it he half turned around and knew it was going in and walked down the other end of the court...WOW... Caron Butler looked like Glenn Robinson out there tonight, just sinking jumpers...Andray Blatche was very disruptive on defense, Jamison played a solid game...just too bad Charlie had to miss that open three in the corner.
You see what Gil is all about now BCB. Time for you to go buy his jersey and put it on. Welcome to the Hibachi's Takeover!

Great game, great shot, great clutch play, great game, great shot, great clutch play. Caron started it, Gil finished it. Bucks really got to us, but we won it in the end. Am I the only one to notice it, but ever since that game where Gil made a careless play and didn't try to rebound that loose ball, which almost cost us the game after Hayes accidentally kicked the ball and turned it over, Gil's been good on rebounding? Whew....damn long ass question. Forgot which team we played against, but after that game, Gil's been hustling to get the rebounds more often.
