I personally believe you can be for the 2nd Amendment and believe in some gun control. It's not an all of nothing argument.

Every time I buy OR sell a gun, I have to go through a background check with the State Police, and I have to PAY for that background check. Every time I buy a SILENCER (a simple pipe that muffles a gunshot, which is only allowed in certain states because it scares Liberals), not only do I have to go through a background check with the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, but I have to file Federal Paperwork, and wait anywhere from 9 months to about 2 years before I can even take possession of it. And I cannot loan it out to anyone, nor use it without possession of the appropriate paperwork, which I MUST have on my person while using it. Oh, and did I mention I have to get permission from my local Chief LEO, and pay a $200 tax to the ATF before I can buy it? AND IT'S NOT EVEN A WEAPON! The only way you're going to hurt someone with this is by hitting them in the face with it. Face facts: more gun control WILL NOT work. We had school shootings during the Clinton-era Assault Weapons Ban. If that isn't proof enough, then what is? LMAO, "punk ass". You sound like a REAL tough guy! Go find a gun shop in the Bay Area, California, and ask them what Gun Control has done for their businesses, and what the average citizen has to go through to own a gun in that state. And, in my opinion, you cannot completely respect nor understand the 2nd Amendment unless you're a gun owner. And I've personally yet to meet one gun owner that's EVER been for any kind of gun control.

The fact that you don't believe so just speaks to your ignorance on the subject. So do me a favor: go read up on guns and ammunition, as well as firearm accessories. I've been reading about the subject for over 10 years. When you have my level of knowledge and common sense when it comes to this subject, and you STILL feel gun control is a good idea, then come back and we'll discuss the issue. But first, go educate yourself first, without listening to CNN, NBC, and the other cock suckers out there that try to dramatize the subject by using fear and glorifying killers. And if you trust and listen to ANY politician about a firearms or the 2nd Amendment......then maybe you ARE fucking stupid.
Do you believe in the militarization of local law enforcement? Do you believe that felons should be allowed to have guns? Do you believe that illegal aliens should be allowed to have guns? Children? What is the definition of a gun in modern society? Is this a gun? Is this? As a gun owning conservative I don't mind having these conversations.
And thank you for your reasonable and well thought out answers. I would argue that not allowing felons and illegals to own guns is a form of gun control. So you can support the 2nd Amendment and believe in reasonable gun control. On a side note I would fully support federal legislation that outlaws the use of fire arms outside the physical control of the owner. Mounting guns on drones is not something we want to have happen. Not only is it a safety concern but you know someone is going to mount a rifle on a drone and start hunting with it, lol.
I disagree, only because that while yes, it can BECOME a problem, I do not believe it is currently so. And I don't think you can take a 3 second GIF of a Glock on a drone and call it "drones with guns". I think that's a little too vague. And who's to argue that controlling a drone with a remote control is not technically outside of the owners "physical control"? I think that would start down the road of more unnecessary Federal Regulations, of which we neither have the money nor the manpower to enforce.
Felons lose a lot of rights for good reason Illegals should have no rights I don't think that is an argument for gun control.
There are some on here and in America that believe not allowing felons and illegals to own guns is a form of gun control and violates the 2nd Amendment.
As long as you don't use those same laws against the law-abiding, and make laws against the law-abiding that only effect criminals, then I don't see a problem with barring felons and illegals certain rights. Felons have proven that they are incapable of exercising responsible use of rights in normal society, and illegals aren't citizens of this country. Other than that, I think that arguing that not allowing those two people to own firearms is a vague argument at best, because they are specialized cases.
