I kinda like that guy from I think toronto. The young pitcher. I think his name starts with like Z or something.

I grew up a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, as well as the Atlanta Braves so:Albert Pujols (as recent) and Chipper Jones, most definitely.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BrewCityBuck @ Dec 31 2006, 09:58 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>robbed of the MVP this year.</div>I give all the credit in the world to Ryan Howard, but in all due respect, the only reason Pujols lost his part in getting it was because he missed those 3-4 weeks because of that injury back in May.
Without question....Mr. Big Papi himself...David Ortizhow can you not love this guy? He's easily one of the best clutch hitters of all-time and you can't help but fall in love with the guy's personality.

Apart from that, Ichiro is my favorite despite him playing for the M's. Vlad is a close 2nd.
Albert Pujols of the St. Louis Cardinals. He should have won the MVP award not taking anything away from Ryan Howard because he had a great season at the plate. But Albert Pujols has shown throughout his first 6 years as a pro that he ranks among the best ever at homeruns, rbi's, and batting average. He is right up there with Maris, Ruth, and the other all time greats. Pujols showed that he can field his position too as he really improved this year. Ryan Howard isn't a good defensive player and I think that has to account in the MVP race.
I have 2. One from my favoirte team and his name is Nomar Garciaparra, and the other one is Ken Griffey Jr.
