They don't call the 909 the valley of the dirt people for nothing.

 

When I moved from there to the Pacific Northwest in 1974, I decided that this is the utopia we hippies at UC Riverside fantasized about.

Actually, I was just comparing to the Armpit of the World. My standards are higher now. The NW is no paradise.

 

This doesn't seem like the act of some crazy person or a standard "mass shooter" with access to guns. The way described sounds like an act of war. Its either a small militia or ISIS is here.

 

Its gotten worse.

 

In the good old days, the 9th-graders circled you and used their fists. The half who were smart enough to make it to the 12th grade used knives. The 25-year-olds used shanks because they were in prison.

Now, everyone owns a gun and has the money for a Ninja uniform. Technology marches on.

 

If they don't catch these guys soon, there will be another shooting in a place like a shopping mall, church or large public gathering in the near future. It seems like it was well organized, public and with a getaway plan.

 

At the nearest high school, Colton, we had 700-and-some freshmen, and 400-and-some-seniors. I'll let you calculate the dropout rate. I didn't get to division.
