    2 Pitchers over the last 3 seasons...............

    #1) - 51-15 with a 2.33 ERA averaging 201 IP, 43 BB, 185 Ks & a WHIP of 1.037 Has also finished in the top 10 CY voting all 3 years & has 2 CGs & 1 shutout.

    #2) - 49-28 with a 2.89 ERA averaging 212 IP, 48 BB, 217 Ks, & a WHIP of 1.043 Has also finished in the top 10 CY voting all 3 years & has 8 CGs & 4 shutouts.

    Pitcher #1 has earned approx $70M over his last 3 seasons & is in line to earn approx $125M over the next 4 seasons.
    Pitcher #2 has earned approx $13M over his last 3 seasons & is in line to earn approx $45M over the next 4 seasons.

    Now pitcher #1 you may have guessed is Zack Grienke, can you guess who Pitcher #2 is?

    2016 = $9.75M
    2017 = $11.5M
    2018 = $12M
    2019 = $12M (club option)

    Now that's what I call a bargain.

    WOW, I damn near said Madbum but thought he made a helluva lot more, and never bothered to even look at his salary.

    I wonder if the Giants are even thinking of perhaps throwing Bumgarner a few million as a bonus for his past efforts. He sure deserves more, no doubt Madison is as premier a SP as they come,...:notworthy2:

    Now can you imagine if they do sign Grienke for 30M+ a year, the guy will be making approx $20M more than Bumgarner. If I'm Bumgarner, I wouldn't be to happy.

    Latest news tonight, the Bums are supposedly offering Greinke a 6 yr. 210$ Mil deal, or $35 MIL, for 6, I doubt Frisco is fools enough to try and beat the ridiculous offer......or is it, only time will tell.

    But, Rick your right, Madbum should get some kind of compensation, but do you think the greedy bastards will do as much? I don't, and that is a shame, but its also contract, so shit either way.......
