I'm curious, does anyone here think Pop would have draw up or been okay with a dribble for 5 seconds and then jack up a 30' shot at the buzzer? I've seen him get in Dunan's face, Parker's, Leonards etc. Good for Pop. Accountability.

Good stat.. But when I say it, I'm hating. Glad I have people who feel what im saying. Besides the only part I critique Dame on is his 3 point shooting, Ive said many times everything else is fine with him but he LOOOOOVES that damn 3 pointer which he really doesn't have for a long time now. Thats all I'm saying

You may need to go see a doctor for that prolonged erection you're having.

He is really the only one I would personally want taking that type of last second boom or bust shot. yea he could differ to CJ, Crabbe, or Meyers, but are they willing to shoulder the weight if they miss it. Chief tried in two games, screwed it up big time, now he sits on the bench during a last second shot situation.

Dame was listed as probable for the last game with stomach problems....he made a terrible decision at the end of regulation..should have gotten to the freethrow line instead of shooting the deep ball but the trend has always been...you're only as good as your last loss or missed shot. This is not a starting lineup of guys who have played for years together....his shot selection bothers me a lot less than CJ's turnover bad passes. It can improve but he's trying to will the team to wins and has put up some big numbers given the few weeks of regular season play so far. I do not agree that he's overrated.

I'd rather he take the shot as well. Just want a better attempt.

Bullshit. He hit the same shot over OKC last year. He hit a bunch of clutch shots in 2OT game against Spurs last year. He even drilled long threes at the end of a win this year (Clippers game?) Jordan missed lots of clutch shots in his career. Bound to happen when you take so many. Nothing to see here.

ALSO- when it's tied and the shot clock, you want to be sure you shoot at the buzzer. Overtime at worst. On NBA2K16, I lost a game because I shot too soon.

Also- Lillard's shot almost went in.

As I said, you want your shot to go up at the buzzer. That's why he dribbled out the clock.

How quickly we forget Lillard Time 2 weeks ago. Three LONG threes in less than 2 minutes to put away the Clippers.

Too afraid to admit?? His shot selection has been the #1 thing that's been harped on besides his defense.

I get that Lillard has the right stuff when it comes to finishing games, at least he thinks he does even if he fails, which is a rare quality. It's fantastic if every once in awhile he pulls out a game in spectacular fashion. BUT, he hasn't shot the ball well over the last 2 years, no arguing with stats, and he has to choose better shots and get the team better shots if he is going to be the franchise player we want him to be.

He's fine. He just needs better teammates so he doesn't have to do everything. This team is a pile of shit.

Check out the posts above yours. There are a massive # of people (Stotts being one of them) who are seemingly ok with the shots he's taking.
