When France was attacked last month (or whenever it was), I noticed tons of people posting their profiles with the French flag superimposed on their pictures.

So far with the most recent attack, I've only seen one person post a profile pic with the US flag superimposed on their picture.

Not sure what to make of that.

People are too busy arguing about gun control and posting mean things about each other. The divide between the two parties is sad and frustrating.

Right now my options are either don't go on facebook at all, or block people that won't stop posting political shit ALL THE TIME.

I've unfollowed everyone except a few family members and close friends on Facebook. I just added a distant relative as a friend the other day and then unfollowed her after she posted a picture of her son's confederate flag birthday cake. I looked at her page first and it turns out she's a trump supporter as well. Who'd a thunk it? My point is that the unfollow option is the only reason I can still tolerate Facebook. Fuck political posts and baby pictures.

I don't mind people having different opinions. I have a decent amount of friends on both sides, but honestly I can't stand the meme spam. Some people just post political meme after political meme all day. I'm sick of it. I don't want to unfollow people, but it's getting real old.

I don't mind people with different opinions either, I just unfollow everyone that I don't talk to on a regular basis. There's usually not a specific reason I unfollow them, I simply don't care what's going on in most people's lives or what their opinions are on anything. The only reason I still follow close friends and family is so I know what they're talking about if they bring up one of their posts when we're talking.

What's this "Facebook" thing you guys are always going on about? It sounds like a serious social drag. I'd rather hang out with my friends. And doesn't everyone get enough angst and anger out of this site's OT forum.......??

That's a good question. It actually hadn't dawned on me, but this is so true. The same people that were flying french flags are now talking about gun control and being careful about "anti-muslim bigotry".

I like some political discussion though. People used to not be so up tight about talking about important issues. Just don't spam me with links and posters, I want to hear your actual thoughts.

I have a facebook account. I had to register to look up old girlfriends and see what they look like.

Why any man would have one for another reason is beyond me but that's what makes the world go round.

By the way, I regret it. Time hasn't been good to them, especially the one who was 40 when I was 25. I'm 41 now.......

Wait for this emotion to mature. When the liberal emotional decision maker finally gets the picture, they can and no doubt will, toggle to the extreme incorrectness. Right now they can not accept, a body of people, have declared war on them. Declared war and carrying out acts of war. When the reality sets in, then the other side of the liberal profile will become dominate.

Everyone in this forum is, no doubt familiar with the internment of Japanese Americans during WWII. Ordered by Franklin Roosevelt, probably the foremost Liberal of the twentieth century. Less known, is the internment of German Americans during WWI, again ordered by the man that inspired the label Progressive, Woodrow Wilson.

With this track record, the followers of Islam can see their fate if they carefully review history. The reestablished Caliphate has declare a Jihad and the United states is the prized target. The soldiers of Caliphate fill their ranks from the followers of Islam. Not all followers may see themselves as soldiers of the Caliphate, and they had best begin to identify those that do and begin a reformation of their religion to one of tolerance and peace. The American liberal will not protect them long, a few more attacks like San Bernardino will toggle them en mass to follow their alternative emotion. (this is how terrorism works)

However, time may be on their side for a short while, Obama can't even tell we have a problem let alone do anything about it, so he is not likely to issue the order. Allah help the Muslim though, if Hillary takes command, her lack of firm principles would allow her to jail the "enemy aliens" as easily as strip you of your weapon at the nearest opportunity. Ignoring the Constitution is easy, when it was never one of your fundamental principles.

I have one to keep up with family that I don't see often. I also have a bunch of old high school friends that stay in my feed. However, I took the app off my phone and I check that mother fucker when I want to not when it notifies me.
