Whoever's watching the game, Kwame just blocked a shot and came down on Andre Miller's foot. I swear to god it looked like his foot was horizontal to his leg. I don't epect to see him back for a while. Bynum better step up.
Yeah I saw it. His ankle just twisted in the completely different direction. Could be out for a while.
Yeah, I know...F*ck. He was doing pretty good getting active tonight too. At least Bynum will get those minutes that he deserves.
Now that I think of it. When is Odom expected to come back? Do they even have a range of when he's supposed to return?

I was watching the highlights to tonight's game... Kobe again proves why he is the real MVP of last year and this year.. if that makes any sense..

Yay, another blow to our defense. Now we are going to have to rely on only one real big man (a big man who is 19).I'd like to see a turiaf/bynum front line with Cook coming on to play stints. Phil will probably go with his most favourable duo, Vlad rad and cook at PF and C respectively.

That would be really weird considering Turiaf's never really had to deal with that much pressure and Bynum has started before and has thrived. But then again it's Phil. For all we know this is just another mind game.
I would give him a starting spot. It would motivate him. If he could keep a steasy game like he did earlier in the season, that would be awesome. But I guess Phil Jackson knows what he's doing.
Brown out; Lakers shorthanded in front courtLOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Lakers center Kwame Brown didn't break his left ankle on Sunday, but he did severely sprain it and the date of his return is up in the air."We don't want to give a target date simply because everybody's body heals different, and there's no way to know at this time how long Kwame will take to heal from the injury," Lakers spokesman John Black said, according to the Los Angeles Times.Sprains of that type typically take 4-6 weeks to heal. Brown will be reevaluated in two weeks. A CT scan and MRI both showed no fracture in the ankle.Brown landed awkwardly on his ankle during Sunday's 104-94 Lakers win over Philadelphia. The Lakers are undermanned in the front court. Youngsters Andrew Bynum or Ronny Turiaf are his likely replacements, along with forward Brian Cook.Chris Mihm is out for the year with an injury. Lamar Odom is out until mid-January with a knee injury."It's a big void losing Kwame," Turiaf said, according to the Times. "In my opinion, he's probably the best center in the league as far as putting guys right in front of him, and making guys score over him because he's so strong. I think we're just going to have to step up, me and [Bynum] and Cookie also."LinkHurting the Lakers, don't know when he will be back...
