This Sather ceremony is really well done starting with walking down from the rafters. When you see something like this it really makes you hungry to win.

All the nonsense and BS aside, I really wish the Rangers could win another cup. I have seen 4 Giants SB titles. The Mets win a WS. But to me...by far...my greatest sports fan moment was the Rangers winning the cup in 94. I want so badly for this team to win another one for all of the great Ranger fans.

Seeing Mess out there also really makes me wish we could have another player like him...that is what we need man. A great leader, a monster on the ice, and a super player.

Awesome to watch this, but makes me long for a title badly.

I'll also add that I hope Edmonton gets their sh*t together. Great hockey city and they deserve a winner also. With McDavid there I think they'll finally have one in the not too distant future.

And I know we have given Sather a lot of BS here through the years, me at the top of the list, but he does seem like a great man. And he has also turned a lot of that around the past 5 years.

From a lot of nothing for a decade we have won many playoff series and made a lot of long runs recently. If we could just cap this run off with one more SC for Sather I would love it.

Times have changed..................there are no more Messiers!

The Sather scene is total bullshit to me. He was an Edmonton
    icon.......................never one in New York.

Let's play the game..........and yes, shoot to score.

Stop cage...that's a ridiculous joke to say it is BS. The ceremony was in Edmonton for the Oilers, so it isn't BS at all. When you say things like that you look ignorant. This wasn't a Ranger ceremony at MSG. Be happy for the man...it was well deserved.

Also the guy has been here for a long time, and while he may not be a NY icon when was the last time we had a sustained run like we have the past 4 or 5 years? Been a LONG time. Over 20 years, and even then it was 2 or 3 seasons. This team has done everything the past 4 or 5 seasons except win a darn cup. Need to get over that hump.

the world goes round and round. It is amazing what ignorance
one sees and how one speaks! Just glad he's not in charge anymore.

As soon as Tanner Glass showed up, the team has started going down the toilet but our great coach keeps putting him out there.

Team didn't see the Oilers end of the ice after the first few minutes...not good. Oilers are loose in their own zone, so this game is not over. If the Rangers cannot score against this team we have major issues...even if the score is 5-4 we need to score goals against this team.

The Oilers are all O and no D (24th in GAA).

Terrible period by McD and Girardi as well.

You were talking about how great our depth is this year. As soon as Stepan went down, the team has sucked with Tanner fucking Glass as the first callup. This team is another injury away from completely falling apart.

It's not Vigneault so stop with that. It's lazy uninspired backchecking by 'Sedated' Staal and co. Like that Chuckles..sedated Staal?:)

AV keeps putting Glass out there. Who do you think missed his back check assignment on two goals?
