Did you know that Tim Duncan would have never played basketball if it wasnt for his hometown pool being demolished in a storm? He was originally a swimmer, and then he picked up basketball after that.

noDid you know that Penny Hardaway got his nickname by his grandma/friends. His grandmother always thought he would be a model cause she always said he was pretty as a child. She called him "Pretty", but with such a country accent, his friends thought she was saying "Penny", so they began to call him Penny.

Did you know that basketball rules used to not allow players to move with the ball in hand, so some players began dribbling the ball, which technically meant that they were not moving with the ball in their hands? Also, did you know that on January 19, 2006, the LA Lakers faced the Sacramento Kings in a game in which Kobe Bryant scored 50 points, Mike Bibby had 40 and Kenny Thomas had a triple-double? What's amazing about this? Well, it's only the 2nd time that's ever happened.Did you fellas know that Shaquille O' Neal is the second oldest player to ever outscore his own age? On March 6, 2006, Shaq dropped 35 points at the age of 34. The oldest player to do this was Alex English, who dropped 37 at the age of 35 in 1989.Last but not least, did you know that Reggie Evans is the first player since Dennis Rodman in 1997 to grab 20 rebounds in a game without scoring? He did this on March 10, the same night Jason Richardson opened a game 4-for-4 from the arc but 0-for-4 from the foul line.

I think they may still play netball like this (it's a sucky version of basketball, look it up on wikipedia). Very interesting, good one.
