This is really shameful. If you vote for a senator who voted against this than you are the problem. They risked their lives, and many are dead or dying because of it, and we can't get this done? Fucking disgusting.
They all worked for hospitals or the government, right? That means good health insurance. So why should wealthy taxpayers be shouldered with this burden, which is the extras that regular health insurance doesn't cover. I get where the donors who control Republican politicians are coming from. What's next? Extend supplemental Medicare, from 80% coverage to 100% for everyone, not just those who can afford it?

If the Democrats really wanted it passed, and not as a campaign issue and to fool YOU, they'd have offset the expense with spending cuts elsewhere. It looks like the Bill will be passed with expense offsets, or made part of the year end omnibus spending bill.
