?

We know Fropez will receive a very nice reception, but what kind should Afflalo get?

Okay, I say we let him live. That should be politically correct enough.

We need to have more confidence at the end of the fourth...we can't just keep going for layups in order to keep it close...we have to go all in and take the three...

Crabbe may not be starting, but he's been finishing games. His shot has been solid, and I trust him on the defensive end. 7 games in a row now with double-digits points (15.4 ppg average during that span). He's the Blazers 4th leading scorer. He's certainly out performed my expectations coming into this season.

The Knicks and the Blazers had identical records going into this game (10-14), and the game was on our court. So we expected to win. That's why we were so disappointed.

I ran out of booze, as you can tell.

Let it be said for the record that I oppose killing any little buttface who misses easy clutch layups which determine the game outcome.

Just wanted to make that official for the FBI snoops.

Dame and CJ has to trust other players coming down the stretch and the previous win they did that and the outcome was positive guess what the coach has to get in there ear and till them everyone has to be accountable for there play.

It would have been nice to have seen Vonleh getting crunch time minutes. Tonight was arguably his best game of the season, on both ends of the court, and it was frustrating to see Stotts leave him on the bench after his first stint of the second-half.

Just watched the replay, Leonard is flat out awful
Let their guy shoot wide open all night, almost no contribution on O.
I'd rather have Vonleh out there.

I only saw the last 47 seconds of this game and we were jobbed by the refs...Melo lowered his shoulder and knocked Plumlee down...should have been our ball but those free throws killed us. That being said...Dame was incredible getting fouled on the 3 attempt and missed the game winner by a half inch of rim....I thought the good guys played well. Leonard is slumping badly..I don't think he likes coming off the bench.

Tough loss. I actually thought we would win that game last night, especially without PORKzingas not doing anything. He was so bad yesterday, he got lost from the team bus to the locker room! Saw him wandering around like a lost kid and he asked for directions. Cool guy.

He was bad as a starter too, I don't think the bench excuse holds any water.

Did Lopez get a good reaction? I couldn't watch the game.

It's obvious that Meyers Leonard is struggling on the offensive end (TS% down from 63.1% to 50.6%). But what bothers me is that his overall game seems to be slumping. Although Leonard's minutes have gone up from last year from 15.4 to 24.1 (54% additional time on the court), his rebounds per game has gone down from 4.5 to 4.4. At last year's rate, with these minutes, he should be getting close to 7 rebounds a game. Yes, Davis and Plumlee may be 'taking' some of the available rebounds from him, but no more than Lopez or Aldridge did last year. Offense can be attributed to just a shooting slump/mental. How do you account for the lack of rebounding production?

Playing exclusively at the 4 instead of the 5? Opposition stretch 4's bringing him away from the basket. I think Leonard is a 5, not a 4.

I think there's a few things happening. 1. Last year he was only called on to play for short spurts and his responsibilities and attention from opponents were far lower. It's why you can't just look at a player who plays a limited role and extrapolate production on a per minute basis and expect it to hold when a player is asked to do more. 2. The separated shoulder isn't something that just goes away after a couple of weeks; it could conceivably bother him for months. And 3. It's possible he just kind of stinks - a one trick pony who can shoot three pointers when he's open but maybe not much else?
