    I take it back...

There is no way Leonard would start over Olynyk.

Meyers is a scrub. Thank god we didn't pay him. He'll be gone next season at this rate, and good riddance

Porzingis is actually 7'1.25" and he looks like Yao Ming out there.

    Imagine Embiid oO

If his foot will allow him, of course.

No, I wouldn't. I would trade Harkless and Vonleh and draft picks

With D'Antoni hired as associate head coach I really think they'll be very active and look for pieces that fit his style.

I think they'll ask Portland about CJ.

    Just a hunch.

Itd help us tank harder, and it would be ironic, us trading for an injured, high drafted big, and would be some sort of vindication if we turned him into a beast. Plus, the basketball gods owe us one.

It's probably too soon for them to pull the plug on this experiment by trading him at the deadline, right?

    Sure.

He looks like Meyers without the muscles but with the coordination and basketball IQ.

Trade for a guy with knee issues. Never had that problem here. Good plan.

    He doesnt have knee issues...

The swapping of 1sts would need to be including. That gives us a better chance at landing Ben Simmons. And if Embiid is actually 7'2 and can get healthy we have 3 young all stars just like that. That's a really high reward. At worse we get Brandon Ingram at 4 and Embiid never plays, but even then Ingram is as likely to become an all star as CJ, so IMO that's low risk. A low risk, high reward deal.

Then you ask, why would Philly, a team actively tanking, try to do a trade that makes them better? I'm sure they want the best chance to get Ben Simmons... it's clear.

Why does Philly do half the things they do? To stay awful. Maybe they view McCollum as an allstar level player.. That still wouldn't elevate them enough where they could still tank. CJ, Crabbe, Okafor, Noel, Murray (swapped down), plus a top 3 pick next year is a great core. If we throw in a future pick or two they may take the bait. Who knows

No way Philly trades a shot at landing a franchise player for anything other then a franchise player. Its what they have been tanking for for the last 3 years but they have missed out on the ping pong balls that would land them their star. If Philly doesn't land a franchise player in the draft then their entire philosophy is pretty much fucked.
