Exactly. If you throw the ball off of an opponent's back and it goes out of bounds, the ruling by the ref would be that your opponent was the last to touch the ball and you would get possession. So the ball hitting his back should count as touching it.

I used to hate Westbook, but now I like him. He got where he is based on pure unstoppable determination. I wish all our players played as hard as Westbrook. Respect his motor big time.

I just watched the replay of that shot a whole bunch of times. They actually did start the replay on time. The clock was down to .5 by the time Westbrook actually got his hands on the ball. He was simply that quick.

The real problem is that he only had one foot in bounds before he grabbed the ball. Don't you have you establish yourself in bounds with two feet before you can touch the ball?

Depends on if you're playing Houston in the playoffs or not.

In MLS it's an automatic 3 game suspension. Alan Gordon (who played for the Timbers for a season back in 2004) was the first player to be suspended for uttering a gay slur during an MLS match a couple seasons ago. A year or 2 later the MLS's first openly gay player was a teammate of his. Kinda funny ow that works.

Only 1 game is a joke. 6 or 7 games would feel about right to me.

The NBA is about to get a TON of hate for this. It'll be like when the NFL suspended Ray Rice for like 3 games and then the video got out and there was a firestorm. They're going to get a lot of anger and hate for not protecting the ref.

If you work for someone that's dumb enough to give you a guaranteed contract, then they don't have the right to fire you without compensation. The Kings can buy him out.

Yea but for the most part anybody can do our little jobs, compared to being an elite basketball player.

Honestly, the mavs are just playing for a playoff berth to only get exited out fairly quickly. Yes their winning this season but for what? They have no promising young players, Dirk is retiring soon, Idk but in my opinion what do they have to look forward to? It seems like their just in that little forbidden area where their not great but not bad either. Mehh I would hate that level

Sheridan hoops reporting that Dwight Howard is sick of Houston, and suggests that Miami deal Deng/Whiteside/Winslow for him.

Personally, I don't see how Dwight is worth all that.
