As you all know, D-West hurt his back on Tuesday in Denver trying to block an Earl Boykins layup, and he fell hard on his back (which he had problems with in training camp). So, then Delonte sits out on Wednesday in LA, then he plays in Oakland on Friday (and he played very well). OK, here's my problem. He plays in Seattle last night after Delonte told Doc face-to-face that his back was bothering him. This is Delonte West. He's the type of guy that will NEVER say anything to anyone about any pain he's having, and Doc said that as well. I mean, it's just Delonte. He'd ask Doc to play if both of his legs were broken, that's just him. OK so he plays, and he starts the game moving pretty well. Then Doc takes him out because Delonte was having a minor back spasm. He should have sat him for the rest of the game at that point, but no... what does he do? He plays him 19 or 20 minutes anyway, and starts him in the 3rd quarter! Why? Why would you risk having Delonte hurt his back even worse... again? Doc should have sat Delonte for the rest of the game last night, and maybe he shouldn't have even played him. I don't think Delonte should play today at all tonight in Portland, and maybe not even Wednesday at home vs. Cleveland. I think he should sit out until his back is TRUTHFULLY about 100%.

It's not Doc's fault that Delonte's back is hurting, obviously lol, but it was a stupid decision by Doc (one of many) to put Delonte back in the game right after he had minor back spasms on the sidelines.
