Does it bug anyone else that Rose only seems to put up these performances on national TV? I suppose it could mean we may be able to expect more from him in the playoffs.
I thought this was Rose's best game this season. I was just glad to see him play that way. I don't want to try to get inside his head [insert punchline here]. I mean we've been saying it for years now...as Rose goes so go the Bulls. Lord help us.
It's interesting to compare the play of Derrick Rose & Paul George. Both suffered career altering injuries, but their mindset has been completely different upon returning. We might want to use it as a frame of reference for how to interpret the peculiarities of how Derrick Rose conducts his career nowadays. In other words: yes, it certainly looks like he coasts 85% of the time.
