Meyers last 5 games.... 18.4mpg... 4.2ppg 4.4rpg.... shooting 29.4%fg and 6% from 3's Told you guys hes just a "Matt Boner" end of the bench type of player you can be used in limited certain situations.
Fortunately, coaches and GMs do more than look at a player's last 5 games in making personnel decisions. The guy is in a massive shooting slump, which isn't sutprising given he's coming back from a dislocated shoulder. Give him some time.
I don't disagree with you but you always focus on the negative man. Like Lillards 3s (even though he's 37%).
I've said many times I have no problem with Lillard EXCEPT his 3point shooting. Everything else is perfect with him. I just hate when he thinks hes Curry jacking up 3s like crazy. But I've noticed these last few games hes slowed down on that
Bro he's our best player on this team! He could shoot 3s EVERY god damned time down the court and we shouldn't care! Sent from my Baller-Ass 5.5" iPhone 6+......... FAMS
Statiscally speaking 100 possessions of Lillard 3s would result in 111 points (37 x 3), while we average around 105 points per100. So him shooting is a good thing. And the threat of him pulling from anywhere at anytime draws more attention opening up things for other guys.
I mean that would be like ........ Having a garage full of shitty Kias, Saturns and other piece of shit rides and an ASTON MARTIN. Then having the balls to go on a forum and COMPLAIN about said ASTON MARTIN'S mpg! What the fuck?
Paying him the MLE just based off potential is a huge overpay. He's an Olshey pick so he'll likely get a big offer from PA.
Sure, he might get a big offer from POR (relative to what he probably should get) but I bet he gets an even bigger offer from another team.
Why would give get a big offer from another team? Especially if he continues to be horrible this year.
Teams have so much money to blow this summer and not enough players to blow it on. All the times teams think they can fix a guy or that he just needs a change of scenery. Just watch...
Myers will get between $17-20 million per year over a 5-6 year deal. Blazers will match without blinking an eye.
You accidentally replaced the pesos symbol with a dollar sign. Oh, and the NBA doesn't allow contracts over 4 years unless re-signing one of your own players. It would be impossible for the Blazers to "match" a 5-year offer to Meyers.
Ah, didn't know he's restricted, That changes the situation. I can't see him pulling a Greg Monroe on us. He's probably staying
