I actually find will Ferrell funny too. Stepbrothers is comedy at it's best. And I like Andy samberg and Aziz ansari.
They were just mailing it in after Rosanne won the lottery. I mainly watched it to jerk off to Becky.
It's not about whether or not he's funny. I think some of his movies are hilarious. It's the fact that Hollywood won't green light any comedy that doesn't have one of the top five or six names attached to it. Those guys are all aging, so who's going to take over and make comedies? They aren't developing any new talent.
I like Will Ferrell but when he's in the right role. When it's him playing a grown man who still acts like a teenager emotionally, it gets old. I loved him in Stranger Than Fiction. He really showed real range there. I want to see Aziz Ansari make a movie soon. He's my favorite comedian by far (along with Bill Burr.)
I think Roseanne was one of the best sitcoms of all time. The last few seasons weren't so good though.
Fuck! Men at Work came out in 1990. I love all the movies everyone has listed. Here are some no one has mention that I remember fondly. D.C. Cab - I had plastic Mr. T jewelery when I was in 4th grade Cannonball Run - seemed to be on cable constantly when we first got it. I loved the Jackie Chan fight scene Brewster's Millions, Stir Crazy, Bustin' Loose - I don't think one of you motherfuckers mentioned a Richard Pryor movie Good Morning Vietnam - certainly funny, but probably more of a "dramedy" Back to School - Triple Lindy bitches!
