Hope step is back. Changes are skjei down and hellberg and summers (ugh) up so we can be 100,000 under the cap. LMAO. The hobbit giving Kreids hell.

Didn't see that last night, but remember the off-sides. Picturing Zuuc giving him hell in a NY accent. "You ****ed that up! You!"

Don't rule out the Rangers shopping Kreider. He's a mental midget and still a guy other teams would love to have.

All I need to know about AV being clueless with this lineup is he scratched Lindberg and kept Glass dressed. Not worth watching this team until this dumb coach gets a clue and gets rid of Glass. Defensively we struggle continuously, so let's keep a player who's AWFUL in every facet of the game and bench one who excels in almost every facet.
We're not scoring goals, yes, but it's because we SUCK defensively and cannot get out of our own zone, and when we do its one and done. This is what we were in the playoffs last year and it's continued this year. When looking at SOG against, not GAA since our goalies were standing on their heads making saves, and then looking at our offensive scoring percentage, neither of those were sustainable and it's now showing. Yes it's a "rough stretch" but when you truly look at all the numbers and not just cherry pick the stats you want to look at, this whole season has been rough for us, we just got lucky with Hank being AMAZING to start the year and not starting slowly. Now we get to see ALL those blemishes that were there from the start. If you want to continue to think that this is only a rough stretch the last few weeks, go ahead and bury your head in the sand. The rest of us realize that this team is going to struggle mightily this year and will probably limp into the playoffs.

Honest question for everyone here....if this team misses the playoffs or get eliminated quickly in the first round, does AV come back next year? I mean, he's a great offensive mind, but he's not good defensively. I'm fine with him staying, but then we need a better overall game plan because teams know to beat AVs system simply trap the neutral zone and don't allow any break out passes. This team cannot sustain ANY offensive zone time, cannot get a cycle going, cannot work a forecheck. I mean, I'm not entirely sure what this team does well these days other than give up great scoring chances against.

Gorton, please fire this assclown behind the bench. This tool scratches one of the better players this year in Lindberg in favor of this trash Glass. Meanwhile useless Kreider and Hayes continue getting a regular shift.

AV is not getting fired in the middle of the season when we are second in the division. After the season if we miss the playoffs or get knocked out quickly he might, but even then I think with the past two years with making the SCF and ECF he's getting a free pass this season regardless.

He might not get fired this year but like I said last night. This team will start falling to the mediocrity while his tenure continues.

I don't understand why this team does so many fly bys on the net instead of stopping there and setting up. If they'd stop at the net they'd score a ton more goals. Instead hey do a flyby, go behind the net without the puck and then aren't in position if/when a puck goes towards the net.

This is what Hank usually look like in October/November. Instead, this year he came out on fire and stopped everything. Now, he's regressed into October/November mode. The way this team has looked all year, if he's not in playoff mode stopping everything this team will struggle, as we've seen. Is what it is. No point getting overly worked up with it. It's only a game. Sadly, this team isn't playing the game well these days at all.

The key to a good PP is quick puck movement and ability to win board battles. This team does neither. Sunday is gonna be a massacre. :dammit:

You're becoming a broken record with this stupidity. If you're going to recite daily that he should be fired then have some names of replacements to suggest.

Suggest replacements? His coaching has been piss poor all year long. He usually fixes this crap by this time. He deserves to get fired for the job he has done so far but he wont.

Coaching? How about these slow, out of position slugs who look like they just started playing?

Considering his tenure in New York so far you honestly believe he deserves to get fired? By your reasoning teams would be going through coaches every other year. And yes since you're calling daily for his firing who would you like to see coaching them instead?

I wouldn't mind Bylsma if the Sabres are dumb enough to fire him haha. He got a raw deal in Pittsburgh when he got fired. But it's all for naught. AV isn't going anywhere this season unless we continue struggling like this and dropping in the standings. If we drop out of a playoff spot I could totally see a coaching move coming but I have no clue who they'd replace him with.

I was talking about based on this year. This team has looked awful for the most part of this season. If it was not for hank and some luck they would be under 500 right now.

Can't watch this. Av's offensive genius has huge
    defensive loopholes. Not playoff quality!

And it would be an idiotic knee jerk reaction which is why fans aren't general managers.
