Honest question Mess, at what point do you start to blame the coaches for an inability to change the game plan and continuing to try to do the same thing ineffectively and at what point do you think AV would be threatened to being canned? His lack of adjusting to how teams have taken away and neutralized his system is astounding to me. His arrogance to change his game plan to be more conducive to help this team is ludicrous. However, at the same time, the players at some point I feel like need to man up and play better, even if that means disobeying AV and doing what they want if they think it'll work. I honestly don't care what this team has to do to win, whether it's keep doing AV's thing even though it's not working currently, or going in a different direction. I just want them to play a full 60 minutes and play like they give a shit. I just feel like there's too many guys out there who lack the heart needed to win a Cup. I don't know. Maybe it's just the Tylenol PM talking at this point hahaha

Again, he took them to the finals and was within a game to going back to the finals. The throw the baby out with the bath water mentality at this point is just an emotional reaction. Not to mention to not blame some of these players is ridiculous. We said going into this year that they were really going to need guys like Kreider and Hayes to step up and be top players on this team. Miller was in that discussion as well. Unfortunately, it hasn't happened and the team is clearly worse off because of it. The defense has certainly had its issues but overall it's not like they have suddenly forgotten how to play. When you see that Girardi has been banged up that sheds some light on what has been going on. A lot of minutes and a lot of wear and tear has taken its toll. As for coaching people act like changing an entire team's approach and game plan is like switching a light on and off. It doesn't work that way. It would be like expecting an NFL team to suddenly be able to play an entirely different offense and defense at the snap of a finger.

This is a main reason why I don't think he gets fired this year during the season. If we fail to make the playoffs or get knocked out in the first round I wouldn't be surprised though. But as for in season, I don't see it happening. And no one is giving the players a pass, but AV is the one putting Glass out there every game and scratching guys like Lindberg. If you want Glass out there then scratch Etem who's equally as useless as Glass.

Glass is an easy lightening rod but he actually hasn't even been that terrible lately. Their issues are not because a fourth line player is in the lineup. I mean currently they're being out shot 30-19 in the second period. This is not a Tanner Glass issue.

This team is friggin useless in the defensive zone. Everyone puck watches instead of locating the open guy. That's why there's always an open guy in the slot. Too much puck watching, and that happens in EVERY zone for the Rangers. They're just a very bad team right now, that would be way out of a playoff spot if not for a hot start. Winnipeg will have over 30 shots through 2 periods. Defense is CONSISTENLY out biggest issue, not offense. Our offense will get better when we get better defensively. We simply can't sustain any offensive zone pressure due to spending so much time in our own zone attempting to play defense that by the time we get into to offensive zone they're too tired to do anything and either dump and change or get one shot and out of the zone the puck goes again.

Seriously? So you're ok with Glass playing over Lindberg? Wow. Have a good night. I can't continue this conversation anymore. You're literally making an excuse for AV playing Glass over Lindberg. Wow. Is it Glass' fault? Absolutely not. I even said if you wanted to play Glass than bench Etem who brings nothing as well, at least Glass will fight. But to bench one of our best YOUNG REAL SOLID PLAYERS is a joke unless he's tired and needed a day off, which is possible.

My issue is this years roster. What was missing and is missing with this club is a player or two win an edge. A guy like Lucic instead of these nice guy type players. When I look at these guys tough is the last thing that comes to mind .

Scratching Lindberg is one of the dumbest coaching decisions I have ever witnessed as ranger fan. Especially when you have players who have been struggling more all year in Hayes, Etem and Kreider. On top of this, he continues to play Glass. Mind boggling. After the Rangers scored the second goal, he put his fourth line on the ice when he had a momentum. What kind of coach does this?

He's looks like a decent player but stop making these guys out of be what they aren't. Lindberg hasn't been playing well at all lately either. I'm not going to go crazy because he's sitting out a game as if they're sitting Mario Lemieux.

Line juggling is AV's in game adjustments. Just pulls names out of his ass and see if it works...LOL

The Lightening are struggling. Should fire their coach.

Glass is what he is. He's playing on the 4th line, so what. Don't blame him, blame Kreider, that pussy Nash, Hayes, Yandle, etc

lol, fire the coach over this season? what kind of clown says that? so when the team was winning it was the players, when it's losing it's the coach. Brilliant.
