With a win tonight, Chicago would sweep its five-game homestand. The last time the Bulls had a perfect five-game homestand was Jan. 7-15, 2005.
Jimmy being "abused" to the tune of 55 minutes. Derrick being "abused" to the tune of 54 minutes. Paging Jen Swanson? Snell getting minutes ahead of McDermott. Gibson getting minutes ahead of Mirotic. Bulls are a strong defensive team but could improve on the offensive end. (this season the Bulls are at an all time worst in offense for a Rose backed Bulls team at basically full strength) Where is all the bellyaching about these situations this year? ---- Tough loss. Pistons having a field day against Rose / Gasol down the stretch. Rose really needed a rest especially. Its hard to rest guys in those overtime periods though when its hard not to think of them as 5 minute sprints to the finish. Great to see Rose being able to get to the rim and lane at will. Something tells be Stan was a bit OK with that at times though.
