Under the system, NBA teams can assign up to two players who are rookies or in their second season to their D-League affiliate. Players can stay with the D-League team for as long as the team wishes, and be recalled back to the NBA at any time. However, a player can only be sent to the D-League a maximum of three times during the season.</div>Patrick has a lot of potential, and he has a lot of work ahead of him in order to reach that potential. This is a good move by the Warriors. POB is a big man, but I think he was drafted too early. If O'Bryant is in the D-League it means he needs a ton of developing, enough that he should have been drafted in the 2nd round even. The point of keeping raw rookies in the NBA is to get them adjusted to the competition in practice, and so the coaches can work with the rookie, obviously O'Bryant isn't skilled enough to do either.
I thought drafting Obryant was almost as bad as drafting Saer Sene....there we so many better players still left to take.
P.O. Box 26! Yeah, he's not ready for the NBA right now. He is going to be a project, but he does have solid potential. He's a legit 7'0'', he is a good offensive rebounder, he has a soft touch around the basket, and he has a solid stroke from about 10 feet away. He's an average shot blocker. He needs to improve defensively and he needs to improve his conditioning. Hopefully he does well in the D-League.
