Butler scores 23 points, Bulls beat Thunder 105-96 The Chicago Bulls were angry and on edge after three straight losses. They channeled those emotions into one of their best wins of the season. Jimmy Butler scored 23 points, and Pau Gasol had 21 points and 13 rebounds in the Bulls' 105-96 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday. Lose to the Nets at home then beat the Thunder on the road. It seems like every year we believe that our team is the most inconsistent ever. I think that it's just the way of the NBA (The Thunder win 9 of 10 then lose to the Bulls at home...many consider the Spurs to be the 2nd-best team in the NBA, but they've lost to the Wizards, Pelicans, Raptors and Rockets...the head-scratching list goes on...hell the Warriors have only lost once, but improbably did it to the Bucks). Sometimes I think we're just too damn close to it. I know I am. Anyway, nice win. My guess is that the Bulls will be the only team to sweep the Thunder this season.
