They're simply getting outplayed. Almost doubled up in shoots.

They have no transtion game and miss the net more than probably any other team in the league. Just not enough offensive 'power' on the roster.

I have ZERO faith in this team to score.

Etem is a ZERO. Hayes has become a ZERO. Kreider has been a ZERO. Stalberg is a ZERO. Miller is not near what we hoped he would be. Glass is a joke. Lindberg has hit the wall you'd expect him to hit.

We must move a dman and maybe a Hayes for a legit proven scoring threat otherwise we are f'd.

Takes two to tango, but this team needs a shakeup BADLY now. So stale and flat.

To put the same lines and same players out game after game is comical.

Bench Glass. Put Etem back in. Bench Stalberg or Hayes. Put McIlrath in and go 7 dmen. Mix up the lines again. Put Nash with Stepan. Put Kreider with Brass and Zucc.

    Crazy stuff...Hayes doesn't have a goal in 14 games.

Too many lazy, fat cats with big paychecks on team right now.

I will add that Miller has been getting better though. I have to give him a little credit. He wasn't what we hoped he would be, but he has picked it up. On pace for 18 and 40 now...can't complain if he does that. And playing well recently (3 goals in 4 games).

LOL...wait. AV is the man. He has a clue how to fix this mess. The other coaches have caught up to him. The man has no answers.

By the way, the team has gone down the toilet since Tanner showed up again. Who do you think responsible for that?

Agree very much on Miller...I think he sees the ice well and has an edge to his game. He makes mistakes in his own end but I think he is still a keeper. Kreider on the other hand takes the easy shift every time...he very rarely goes the tough route, plays most of his game on the outside and is a waste of a player...but we'll resign him at 4 mil a season. I honestly believe this guy believes he is a finesse player. Hayes has zero footspeed and has looked awful in transition and his backchecking is pitiful.

I think I've watched about 10 games this year. I don't know why but I can't get into the team.

We get it you hate AV. I hate to say it but you're becoming Pasta like at this point which isn't a good thing.

The Rangers were outplayed in many of their early wins but Hank stood on his head stopping point blank high quality chances and they were finding the net, ironically enough similar events are unfolding in Montreal who got out to an even better start. Clearly the team needs some type of shakeup. The defense was a problem in last year's playoffs and continues to fail to gain control of the puck and clear the zone. Staal is an absolute joke out there with the reaching and knee dropping. Clear difference with McIlrath out of the lineup - Hank was constantly harassed, hope big Mac was just getting a day off. I would be looking to move Nash, no need to wait until the deadline.

A dman needs to be moved. We have excess dmen, whether they are playing well right now or not we do have excess dmen, and are short upfront.

Staal or Yandle will need to be moved I think. Hayes plays in slow motion. Sometimes patience works, but he does everything very slowly. Him and Kreider have become invisible.

I know we like to kill the D in here, and I get it especially on Staal, but Hank hasn't been near top level in weeks. And run through the forwards.

Etem 0 goals. Kreider, who we all wanted 30 + from, has 6 goals and is on pace for a hot 13. Hayes, who we expected to take the next step, also has 6 and is on pace for 13...and he has not scored a goal in 14 games. Lindberg has slammed into that wall. Stalberg, who we hoped could score 12-15 goals, has 3. Over 82 games Stepan is on pace for 40 points. Nash is on pace for 25 goals.

That is a whole pile of crap upfront.

And while we all say +/- is a misleading stat, Mr. Tanner Glass is again the worst clearly. He is a -5. Etem is a -2. Hayes is a -1. No other player is a - who has played more than 3 games.

Last year he was a -12...no other semi regular was worse than -1. This year he is again the worst...yet AV plays him every game and we cut Stoll to keep him. If I could ask AV one question I would say dude PLEASE explain your love affair with Glass. I am sure he would say physical element, and I would say first he doesn't add that much physical play in a league where that is getting less and less overall...AND most importantly he sucks and his negatives outweigh his "positives" by 70860856708578 miles.

Right now we are a dumpster fire...but again we are still in 2nd place. Still in position to right the ship and get things going in a positive direction. I truly believe we need a shakeup though for that to happen. Staal or Yandle must be moved for a forward upgrade. Has to happen.

For the record, I dont hate AV. I just think he has done a horrible job so far this season as coach of this team. I keep saying it but for some reason he cant be blamed for anything. It is all on the players, I guess.

Well when there's lack of production from guys like Rick Nash, Kreider and Hayes that's a major problem and I don't see a way to pin that on the coach. That's not even mentioning how awful Staal has been.

AV needs to get some of the blame along with the coaching staff, scratching Hayes for tomorrow's game is a move in the right direction, guys need to answer for complacent play. I'm sure we can all think of others that could use a game or two off. I didn't think losing MSL's leadership would have such a negative effect on the team, McDonough is quieter than AV - being Captain involves more than wanting to wear the "C" on your jersey. How in the world could you ever convince even the drunkest GM to take on Staal and his contract? He suffered two brutal injuries and is making $7 mil this year followed by $6-$6-$6 (the number of the cap beast) then $5 mil, unless Glen gets hired by another team Staal's not going anywhere. I agree a trade has to be made and thought Yandle would be easiest to move with most teams still in the hunt. The Rangers are going to need guys like Miller and Etem next year to stay under the cap, I would not trade Miller, he's only 22 and is already throwing his weight around. Hard to figure CK out but his laziness is costing him come contract time.

Because Staal's track record is solid. He's a lot better than most teams have for defenseman. Players have bad years. That doesn't mean they suck. The reality is we have McIlrath to replace Boyle or Girardi. Skjei to replace Staal or Yandle. So it makes sense to move them. The contract amount hurts but it's not impossible. Other teams have contracts they want to dump as well.
