I'd do everything in my power to keep Dame/CJ/Cousins. Ideally, I'd like to hang on to Aminu as well.

I think we have to bring a 3rd team in, trade them Kaman/Hendo for salary relief, probably auction off a player such as Meyers/Vonleh for picks, package that DMC.

Cousins would shift my stance on tanking, that's for sure though.

Cousins would be more subdued here than there. There's something about Portland that unsharpens its players' attitudes. That's a plus and a minus.

He'd fit in better than you think.

Yea, people forget that Kamen was considered a problem maker as well as an angry dumbass.
In Portland he is the perfect teammate and gets along great with the coach.

You have pushed me into a new advocacy! Reggie Theus should be our coach.

The Kings have been nothing since Theus was their coach.

The Kings should just send Boogie and someone over 25 in their roster to the Lakers for Randle,Clarkson and their 1st round pick.
If they do that they will have an actual future with at least 4 legit future starters (Stein,Randle, draft pick,Clarkson, their own draft pick).

    Oh well.

Wow. I didn't realize how much Theus set that franchise back. As usual, you are a font of wisdom.

Is that George Karl's fault though? I know George likes his players to attack the rim. I remember a game when the Nuggets didn't even take one outside shot against us till ike 30 seconds left in the game. I hear that Karl doesn't like Cousins.

If he's shooting outside under Karl, what do you think will happen with Terry "stretch 4 shooting fetish" Stotts?

"Umm coach Stotts, I'd like to take 15 jumpers a game...to pull the defense out and give a driving lane for Damian. "

    "Ooooh, Terry likie! Terry LIKIE!"

I don't know, they have Rondo and Collison at the point, maybe they would want Crabbe. (Went to Cal.....)

I really like Crabbe and would hate to lose him, but a Crabbe, Aminu, Plumlee and one more big ( Leonard/Davis or Vonleh) is a scenario that I would take if I were Sacramento. I am not sure Cousins deserves much more than that. He has been ejected 10 times, assessed 77 technical fouls and issued six suspensions (five by league/one by team). Can you really depend on this guy?

I'd offer one of two packages CJ/Henderson/Plumlee, or Crabbe/Vonleh/Plumlee/Davis. The thought of Leonard playing C with a beast of Cousins at the PF where they can't double him ever or he kicks it out to Leonard or an open guard makes me drool.

I go back and fourth on this. I compare him to LMA in a way. I wanted LMA to stay in Portland, but I wanted him to be the 3rd option on offense. And be happy about it. That would have made us real contenders.

If we got Cousins, would we really want to run the offense through him? Slowing everything down? Having him as the 3rd option after Dame and CJ would be awesome. But would he ever go for that? I think he would....for about 2 weeks.

Was there ever a person who didn't get along with Terry Stotts?
I'm trying to picture somebody having a fight with him, but i can't.
