Most fans seem to have come away impressed with these events. Whether their model is sustainable is uncertain. PRIDE had a deal with Fiji TV that sustained them but Japan is a trend-driven market and MMA isn't as trendy as it was a decade ago. Whether they can get a long term TV deal and make enough money to keep putting on big shows is the question. DREAM attempted to do so and fizzled out.

Peter Aerts fought the sumo instead. No explanation for why JLB didn't fight.

The Aoki/Saku match disappointed because Aoki decided to punch the hell out of him and avoid the grappling exhibition everyone wanted/expected. Next time they should book Saku to grapple.
