    ...RIP, Trapper.

...I have every M.A.S.H. episode on video and was addicted to the show back in the day.

And IMO I think the show got better when Harry Morgan took over for the unrealistic zanniness of McLean Stevenson.

...yeah, Morgan did a great job...but for me, the show was not the same without Henry Blake and Frank Burns.

Frank Burns was a great character but Morgan added a maturity to the show while still being able to maintain the comedic touch. IMO his roll was just more believable as a CO then the Blake character.

That show addressed PTSD long before we had an acronym. And that show exposed the dark humor undercurrents that exist to this day in trauma medicine. That cast were pioneers.

Now investor trapper was also very much into "triage", he added a touch of comedy to his Fox business panel discussions.

Loved this show. A HR every time! Wayne Rogers
was one of many heroes on this show. He will be
remembered for his zany humor & how he played
off Hawkeye Pierce/Alan Alda. Great understanding of some serious
    'war' topics. R I P Trapper.
