    To say it's 100% racism for police overreaction is clearly wrong. Nothing in stats supports that. Not even your stats you've present. I think everyone here would agree to that, even dviss. Except you.

    The only stats used by the guy who says BLM is bullshit came from an actual neo nazi site.

    Cool. I can't wait to really see those stats. You're the only person making those claims, but that's groundbreaking. Proof of that will make you more cash than S2. So congrats on that. And I apologize for my reactions. I didn't realize you had such evidence. I am disappointed in myself for such naivety.

    If there are 100 cops and 99 lynch a black man, it's not racism?

    I'm trying to follow your argument here. The 100% thing is some number you came up with. I ask you to justify why 100%.

    3x the arrest rate is a pretty good indicator of racism.

    If you were betting all you have on finding contraband, do you stop the white driver or the black one? If not racism, why do the cops stop more blacks?

    There are numbers and charts. Absolutely supports racism as the problem.

    A repost. Police searched black drivers almost 2x more (12% to 7%).

    There is a 1/3 chance the cop finds contraband (I assume drugs most of the time) on the white drivers vs. 1/5 of the black drivers.

    Not only are the cops looking in the wrong place (the lesser of the two chances to find contraband), they're letting white drivers off with a warning while arresting black drivers 2x more often.

    Explain why they shouldn't be stopping white drivers way more than black ones, and why they should arrest the black ones far more often.

    Damn! I don't agree with any of this stuff they want to let go on, except I guess you boys already legalized MJ so that has to be ok.

    • Consumption of Alcohol on Streets
    • Marijuana Possession
    • Disorderly Conduct
    • Trespassing
    • Loitering
    • Disturbing the Peace (including Loud Music)
    • Spitting
    I do agree with most of this want list;

    The Police Commission should:

    • determine policy for the police department based on community input and academic expertise
    • share policy and policy changes in publicly accessible formats
    But after reading this board, it seems to me the right policy changes won't make it anyway. Accountability changes are not nearly enough to get the system working right.

    The policy of the police enforcement must be changed from instructing the cop to demand compliance, to a procedure of deescalation, do not confront the suspect until the proper back up arrives.
    No reason to kill a man for not following the orders of lone cop when he no doubt will, when several officers are on the scene. Of course if the fellow is about to commit mayhem then deadly force must be used asp. The police chief should be tasked to save as many lives as possible, as if they were cacino customers you want back tomorrow, or sailors you want available to man the ships tomorrow.
