Cancel each other out? What?? So because they're both so good offensively it's a bad thing? That makes no sense. They combine for 51% FG and 49% 3pt in the first quarter.

you can find stats for just about anything really - im sure if i could be bothered i could look at this http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/statistics/_/position/pf and extrapolate some stat based reason why its a likely fail move, but if you think Aminu @ PF is a great n competitive move cause of stats of players he isn't, and playing positions he doesn't - and I don't, well it's really all kinda moot theory on both sides really until it happens. I just hope it never does.

?? Nice argument. "I'm sure if could find a stat to support my position" LOL! OK Mr. Lazypants. Take a look at SFs. Aminu is #3 among SFs in rebound rate. And he's got the length to be a good defender inside, he displayed that more in Dallas...perhaps because of how he was used defensively.

i think you're the only one looking for an 'argument' about it, so the care factor in partaking is close to zero tbh.

and i really couldnt care less about his SF stats when you are talking about him playing PF.

Aminu is not the PFOTF or even the SFOTF. Some of y'all sitting here saying CJ isn't a starter but Aminu is. Comical.

Looking at the numbers CJ isn't an awful defender by any means.

It's fair to say that he more than holds his own at SG - all 6'3" 205 lbs of him.

I would love to get a new reading of his height. I almost guarantee he is taller than that. He is taller than Lillard who was listed at 6 foot 3 coming out of the draft and CJ is easily 2 inches taller than him now.

I know. Lillard was officially measured at 6 foot 2 and 3/4 coming into the draft. I am saying that CJ is probably 6 foot 5 now. He has grown before our eyes.

6'4" might not actually be a stretch.

Maybe HCP can get the numbers from MB.

CJ is listed as 6'4 200lbs on ESPN.com and NBA.com even though he is also listed as 1.93 in meters :hcp:

your rarely gonna see both guys score 15 points in the first qtr. I think that's what was meant by cancelling each other out. We only need one hot one out of the gate. If they are both hot out of the gate and both start, then one may be supressed for the other. But if CJ comes off the bench, then he takes over for Dame and the scoring continues.

They don't cancel each other out. Ideally, they open things up and make it easier for each other. Or if one is hot and the other cold, they cover for each other. This is a good thing.

Following the line of thinking that they cancel each other out, so shouldn't play together, a team should never have more than one scorer on the floor at a time. And here I thought teams aspired to have three.

I was just thinking that last night, watching Damian interview CJ. I always thought they were the same height, but CJ was obviously taller than Dame, and looked close to Henderson, who is listed at 6-5.

Or you sub the one who isn't hitting out first, then bring him back for the other, and the scoring still continues.

Defense wins championships. You need a SF that can guard the likes of LeBron/Durant to win in this league.
