Well, not really rule breakers (couldn't think of a better explanation short enough to title the thread), but players that get away with a lot of things. For example, be it an extra step while driving the lane, or hand checks on defense. I got this thread idea but came up blank with ideas of guys that get this preferential treatment from the refs. Now I want to point out this is outside the obvious guys like LeBron, Wade, etc. They're always going to come up in a lot of threads, and I usually like staying away from them and talking about other guys for a change.

Guys like LeBron and Wade get away with travels and carries.. nothing new here. I know "NO FLOPPING" isn't a rule in the NBA, but Manu does in fact get away with that too much and it effects the game in a big way.

Just thought of one, I don't know if he still does it, but I remember seeing Rip Hamilton with his hands all over Pierce while he was guarding him the last few times they've played. Take it for what its worth I guess.

Thats the NBA.NBA is all about being a superstar and home court.James, Wade, Kobe, Melo, Duncan. They all get it. Ever superstar is going to get calls there ways.Tonight, Duncan got away with about 3-4 vs. the Cavaliers. So far, LeBron James has gotten no love from any ref this season..

How about Vince Carter, whenever I see him play I can point out a couple of times he travels. I don't really see Melo get away with alot Cavsrule. LeTravel does, I still shudder whenever game 3 is brought up.

<span style="font-family:Comic Sans MS">After watching several New Jersey Nets' games (I live in California so I can only watch the games if they're on ESPN or TNT or elsewhere, which, at times, is scarce), I noticed that Nenad Krstic, whilst posting up a defender, had the tendency to travel yet no call was made in any of the games he did them movement in. Even the announcers during home games stated, "Ooh... Lucky he didn't get a traveling violation, huh, [enter partner's name here]?"Anyway, I'm surprised you guys can't think of other players. Everyone on this thread is naming a superstar and the thread creator, yankshater, clearly stated:</span><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Now I want to point out this is outside the obvious guys like LeBron, Wade, etc. They're always going to come up in a lot of threads, and I usually like staying away from them and talking about other guys for a change.</div>

Reggie Miller used to get away with alot of things. He pushed off alot, took a couple of steps he wasn't supposed to take, and one of his biggest moments he completely pushed Jordan which should have been a foul.

He was so smart in terms of how to handle the refs.

He doesn't even move his feet...Kobe doesn't get calls like Wade and LeBron..if anything calls usually go against him.

I think hes referring to jump stops......which I hope he isnt but I think he is. A jump stop is legal as long as you dont take another step after you come down with both feet.

But they do have to do it right, otherwise it is a travel.

Wtf. What games are you watching? Seriously. The only thing kobe gets away with is complaining. I can list all the examples of kobe being robbed this season. Infact, I'd say kobe is the most disrespected superstar of all time. I'm thinking someone's bitter kobe raped the jazz.edit: Also, the refs call every travel on kobe yet they ignore it on wade and bron.
