Smart move by Rivers to keep our second best player off the floor. I'm not saying the Blazers were likely to win even with him in the game, but the Clips have playoff aspirations and one more win against a conference opponent never hurts; take 'em where you can get 'em. As for the Blazers? Jumping Jesus on a pogo stick!! This is not the way to "stealth tank." They need to be way more subtle.
Bill Belichick probably called Doc Rivers tonight and congratulated him on his gamesmanship. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
If their were ever someone who DESERVES to be Bitch-slapped it's Doc Rivers. *Sorry on my phone heading to work by Max and bus and can't make "deserves" bold or italicized.
You know, I don't know... we were only down by 6 twice late... with CJ out there, I think it would have mattered...
Thing is, if that was any other coach doing that to a guy like Kobe we'd probably be OK with it. I'm more concerned with Stotts putting him on the inactive list then what Doc Rivers did.
Man a large percentage of y'all are whiny butt hurt bitches about every little thing... Ohh Fire this guy, fire that guy, trade this guy, trade him. I demand Justice!!! Its a freaking game, and in this case it was one game, that even if you have vested interest in the team, doesn't matter one whit of shit about this team this year.
What's the purpose of such an archaic system? Why not move everything to a tablet (the computer kind, not the even more archaic Biblical kind) that would automatically separate selections and non-selections between the Active and Inactive columns? A couple seconds with each coach would surely streamline the system and eliminate such issues. And Stern would be smiling somewhere at the lack of a paper trail.
I'm having a hard time believing this lone circleler theory. There had to have been a second circleler. And jet fuel can't circle names on a piece of paper.
